Philip Lester. Philip Lester is the prince of Gogginilin. Gogginilin is much different than others, along with their prince. This towns kingdom is quite nice and calm. The town is usually quiet, but sometimes, it can get quite obnoxiously loud and annoying, especially when the castle is beside most of the ruckus. Philip is the prince who is quiet and careful. Not rude nor disrespectful to the servants, but will get mean when he wants something. He will usually stay hid away in his room, although he has to attend the royal balls every once and a while. He would be lying if he said he enjoyed them. He absolutely hates attending balls. All the girls are either too obnoxious, too prissy, too lustful, or too stubborn to be a fit wife or decent person to hang out with. Philip could go on and on about them all, saying such rude things about them, to the point where he could write a book about it. He would much prefer to stay in his room and draw some things he doesn't know until he finishes them and shows off his masterpiece. Or he'd prefer to talk to the servants, ask about their days, although he isn't allowed to. But one servant doesn't care about rules. And that one servant is Daniel.

Daniel Howell. Daniel Howell is a servant of Philip. He's worked at the castle for many a year. He would joke around with people, mess with the king, (although he's almost gotten fired from doing so) and messed with Philip. Now, he knows he isn't suppose to. Of course he knows. He just doesn't care. He could care less if he wanted to. One thing he doesn't like seeing around the castle, is Philip going to the royal balls. Something within him can't let Philip find a wife. He doesn't know if Philip does or doesn't want a wife, but by the looks on his face as he dances with them to hearing him rant about them all, it sure sounds like a no to him. Daniels job is to keep watch of Philip, which is usually quite hard to do when he wants to be alone at times, or when he's attending balls, or in general. Daniel would love for them to be actual friends, best friends even. Maybe the possibility of being his boyfriend. He doesn't know, but he does know he wants to get closer to Philip.

As Philip is forced to be finding a wife, it's hard for him to be able to hang out and do the hobbies he loves. Hard to be able to talk to anyone he would like to talk to. Mr. Lester, the king, has told Philip he needed to try and find a wife, no matter how long it takes. But what if he doesn't want a wife? What if he would much rather prefer to marry someone besides those prissy princesses? Who knows. Being the prince is hard work. Having to not have real friends, getting people by your side 24/7, not being able to have alone time, etcetera. Although he is the prince, some people don't care about being respectful towards him. As Philip sometimes goes outside to get things, or to pick flowers when he's free, that's opportunities for people to be absolutely and completely assholes. They would go over to him, swear him out, take his glasses, throw them to the ground, mess with him, and take his flower crown. Oh yeah, he has a flower crown. Something you will always catch him wearing, is his glasses and his flower crown. The pastel purple flower crown would be placed delicately on his head, making him look even more of a prince than before. The flower crown makes him happy. Nobody is allowed to touch his flower crown. It's his and means great meaning. Even when those people mess with his flower crown, he doesn't throw a tantrum, nor does he shout. He will simply try and calm himself down from a near breakdown. Since that's happened before, a servant has to be outside with him now. The servant is none other then Daniel.

"Prince Philip, it's time to wake up." The royal guard, Mable, told him, standing slightly away from his bed. He grumbled, reaching for his glasses to see. As he put them on, he glared at her, yet she kept a calm face. "It's time to wake up." She told him again, holding her hands together lightly. "And why should I wake up?" He asked with another glare shot towards her. "Because you need to. Your father sent me-" "I don't care if my father sent you here. I know he'll complain about the ball from last night." "Actually, you're right. That's why I'm here." She smiled, walking towards the door, then turned around, "you better be downstairs soon. You know he'll get angry if not." Then left the room. Philip rolled his eyes carelessly, getting out of bed and changing into his royal clothes. As he finished, he checked himself in the mirror, smiling, swiftly grabbing his flower crown and sitting it lightly atop his fluffy hair, then heading downstairs to meet with his father. "Ah, Philip. We have a lot to talk about." His dad declared as he appeared in the dinning room. "I know, father." He muttered quietly, sitting down in the chair across his fathers. Some servants seemed to be quickly working in the kitchen, whilst three others watched over the conversation, one of the three being Daniel. "It's about the ball." Mr. Lester said a last, making Philip groan quietly, remembering the night. "What about it?" He asked, getting Mr. Lester is laugh loudly at him. Daniel watched from afar, crinkling his brows together in confusion. "Well, apparently you really hit it off with one of them." His dad reported proudly, making Philip give him a strange look. "What?" "The princess came up to me last night with messy hair and told me that you guys hit it off in your room." He replied, getting Philip to look wide eyed at him, slamming a fist on the table. "What! We never- id never- ew! I barely even danced with her! She kept getting way in on me and I didn't appreciate it, so I went to my room to get something, and she followed me. We did nothing! Especially with what she said." Philip rants, looking quite angry as he crossed his arms over his chest, glaring darkly. Daniel felt relief as he heard what Philip said, glad they didn't do anything as he saw her follow him up the royal stairs last night. "Are you sure, son?" Mr. Lester asked, getting Philip to push his seat out and stand. "We never did a damn thing! I don't like her, and I wouldn't see myself liking such a prissy, gross, vulgar woman like herself!" Philip yelled, fists clinched tightly to his sides as he was stood. The room stood quiet as Philip stood in anger, some of the servants seemed unsure of what to do. "Room, now." Mr. Lester commanded, making Philip scoff. "Gladly." He sneered, swiftly walking out of the dinning hall and hurrying towards his room, slamming it shut. Daniel stood in shock, this was the first time he's seen Philip that angry before. "Daniel, go check on him." The king directed, making him nod, walking swiftly up the royal steps and down the hall towards Prince Philips room.
