Phora POV

I knew I was in aching pain but just to see her and know she was fine made me satisfy. She was actually by my side taking care of me and I couldn't help it but smile. Once she placed her hand on mine, I knew I wanted to kiss it just so I could know I wasn't dreaming.

We were always mad at each other, but right now we seem happy with each other's presence. I felt something and I knew she felt it too. Our connection was soon interrupted by Destiny. I removed my hand from hers as she stared at me confused. Next thing I knew was Deezy lips were on mine. I moved away from the kiss and searched the room for Mia but she was already gone.

"You didn't have to kiss me like that." I said a little upset.

"What do you mean? I always kiss you like that?" She said with a tone.

"Mia was standing right there you could have said hi to her." Maybe I was blowing this out of proportion but I realized I didn't want Deezy by my side only Mia.

"Honestly I didn't care for her, I didn't rush here to see her but my boyfriend." She reminded me.

"It doesn't matter-"

"It's does matter! Why do you care about her so much? May I remind you I'm your girlfriend not that bitch." She said angrily.

"She isn't a bitch, you haven't even gotten the chance to get to know her." Destiny was really giving me a headache at this point.

"I don't need to know her! She seems slutty and is always by your side that fucken annoys me." She spit out. I bit my tongue not to say another word. This argument wasn't going anywhere.

The room fell in silence into there was a knock. Destiny opened it and Andrew came in. We gave each other greeting handshakes as he handed me some taco bell. "You know me to well." I said munching out.

"I knew my boy would be starving. Plus this hospital food is nasty." I laughed at Andrew facial expression.

"Yeah I'm starving like crazy." I said sitting myself up. "The boys were here but they will be swinging in a few." I nodded digging into my food. "It was hard to even visit you last night Mia hogged the room." Once he said that Destiny looked up angrily. I didn't need this drama right now, so I ignored the way she felt at the moment. I just smirked up at my boy, not daring to say anything further about Mia when destiny is around.

Again there was another knock and I knew it will probably be the boys, with my surprised there stood Mia, Maria and her mother. The person I avoided to talk about stood there facing me in silence. Her mother had a huge smile but it faded once her eyes landed on me.

She breathe in and just let out, "Thank you for saving Mia." Never would I have ever predicted she would be thanking me. Mia's big brown eyes widen in shocked we were both surprised, while the others were left clueless of our history.

I nodded slowly not knowing what to say to her. I haven't seen this woman in years, last thing she said to me is that she never wanted to see me again. "Oh are you Mia's mom?" Andrew asked always being noisy.

"Yeah I am." She answered quickly. "Mom this is Andrew Marcos friend and that is Destiny...Marcos girlfriend." Mia said and her mother smiled at both. She seemed relieved once the mentioned that I had a girlfriend. "It's nice to meet you but I have to get back to work." She walked off rapidly.

Mia POV

I knew her attitude would change once I would mentioned that Marco had a girlfriend. She knew I could never have or be nothing more to him but as a friend.
I walked away taking my vision from Marco and heading back to my car. I needed to go home.

Even after being with him and being able to take care of him made me happy. And now seeing him with her, just opened up my eyes. Being near him was dangerous. It opened up feelings from the past and new ones I couldn't bare to explain.

He was someone important that I couldn't forget. But he had moved on. I was stupid not to see that. After all these years wishing for him to come back to me, he did but not for me. His heart belonged to someone else and she's lucky to have him because I sure felt that way when we were once a couple.

I drove down straight to get a bite to eat to this little cafe shop. I walked in ordering a muffin and some coffee since I needed a boost of energy. I sat down looking through my phone and seeing how Marcos incident went viral. That was all that was on every social media. I forgot how famous he really turned out to be. I guess it didn't hit me that he would actually be known. We're we come from it's hard to even become famous without doing something negative. But his hard work and effort made it. He made it.

I read through some of the information and news that gave more brief information of his injury. As I was done I left the place ready to head home.

"Mia?" I looked up and smiled at Devour Up as he called himself. He hated when people would say his real name. The streets changed him and ever since he got into music too he changed everything about himself.

"Hey." He unexpectedly hugged me. I hugged him back awkwardly. "How have you been?" He asked after he released me from the hug.

"I've been good, what about you?" He had gotten more tattoos than what I remembered just like Marco.

"Good just been working. You look good." He said eyeing me up and down.

"Thanks, I'm glad you're doing better too." I admitted. "I have to get home." I was really tired and wasn't up for talking and catching up on what he has been up to, we'll not for today.

"Still living with your strict mom." I nodded as we both laughed. "Just give me your number so we can talk later." He handed me his phone. "I'll text you in a bit, I'm happy I ran into you." He smiled at me cheesily, as I gave him his phone back.

"Are you on your way to see Marco?" I asked still assuming they were friends. They use to be inseparatedable, I'm sure they still keep in touch.

"Actually no, Phora and I aren't friends anymore, but I'll see you soon." He walked off leaving me confused.
