"Link?" A faint knock was heard on his door.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"Are you talking to yourself again?" His Mum asked. Over the years, they had to come up with some sort of excuse for the noise their parents heard.

"I'm singing, actually" Link answered, trying not to snicker. Sometimes they experimented with what they could say to their parents without them finding anything suspicious.

"Okay then" She went back downstairs. She was quite concerned for her weird son.

"Oh come one, you played it safe there!" Zelda said, coming out of the wardrobe.

"I am the last person she'd ever hear sing" Link laughed, wiping away a tear that had formed in his eye.

"Aw, are you crying?" Zelda teased.

"I'm not!" Link was still laughing as he flopped down onto his bed.

"It's not that funny" Zelda said as she started to giggle herself. Laughter really is contagious.

"Link, I'm going to work" His Mum shouted up the stairs.

"O-Okay" Link got out through laughter.

What a weird kid his Mum thought before leaving the door.

Link eventually stopped laughing, but it took a long time.

"At least we can be as loud as we want now" Link said, standing up.

"Yeah, true" Zelda replied, shouting. "Oh, have you talked to Midna recently" She asked.

"Not since I went to school on Tuesday. Why?"

"Beedle was harassing me about this year's Halloween party. I already said no to Midna, but I might actually go"

"Are you sure about that? Remember what happened last year?"

"Very funny. Of course I don't" Zelda through her arms up and sat down next to Link.

"Oh shoot, sorry" Link laughed a little.

"I just want to try it sober. You said we had fun so I want to experience it and remember it"

"That makes sense. I honestly feel sorry for you for mentally missing out. It's so weird, I remember it so clearly"

"Thanks for rubbing it in" Zelda laughed. "So are you saying you'll come?"

"If you go, I will too" Link smiled at Zelda. "Besides, if you happened to get completely out of it again, who would be your knight in shining armour and carry you home?" He winked at her with a cheeky grin as he stood up.

"Oh please" She stood up also.

"What time does your Mum get home at?"

"Should be around 10:30 tonight"

"Well that gives us around 6 hours to watch Hylian Knights 1 and 2, so we best get started" He smirked, tapping Zelda on the cheek.

After they'd finished the second film, they needed to put the another one on. Link and Zelda both went to grab the remote at the same time as it was in the middle of them both. Their hands touched as they both turned their heads thinking the same thing. They both pulled away at the same time as they both started blushing.

"Sorry" Zelda giggled, her cheeks crimson red. She went to grab the remote again, not expecting Link to.

Link saw that she went for it again, but it didn't stop him from doing it as well, a split second later. Zelda's hand landed on the remote first, Link's just behind it. They made eye contact again, but they were both not as embarrassed this time. Zelda let out a little laugh as her cheeks became even redder, not moving her hand as she looked at Link. Her face changed rather quickly though, as she noticed the time.

"Shoot, what time is it?!" She asked Link, sitting upright, her hand still on the remote.

"It is... 10:37. Crap" Link replied checking the time on his phone with his available hand. Once he saw the time he took his hand off of Zelda's, letting her get up without struggle.

"I'll come over tomorrow to talk about what costumes we're going to wear" She smirked, grabbing her jacket that she took off midway through the first film. "It's either go big, or go home" She climbed out the window and pulled the tree closer to her.

"You mean that it's just an excuse to cosplay, right?" Link asked, leaning on the windowsill.

"Maybe" Zelda looked back.

Her face was still red as she swung to the other side, Link watching how graceful she made it look.

Once she made it over, she closed her window and immediately went to see if her Mum was home. Luckily, she wasn't just yet. Once Zelda made her way back to her own room, she picked up her little whiteboard and wrote a message to Link, who was still stood at his window.
