2.18 will be the newest chapter. By that, I mean, it will be the first chapter added to this book that was not originally published before I took this book down. Make sure to keep an eye out for it.

I got my stuff ready and was about to leave the apartment when someone knocked on the door. I walked over to it and opened it. I admitted, "I would invite you in, but I'm leaving for a while."

Zach asked, "Why?"

I pushed past him with my stuff and closed the door behind me. I informed, "We did it. We found my mother, or rather where she'll be in a few days."

Zach asked, "How did you work that one out?"

I ignored his question and asked, "Shouldn't you be at the Abattoir? You know, getting information out of those two witches?"

Zach grabbed my arm and turned me to face him. Zach asked, "How do you know about that?"

I looked in his eyes before answering, "I get visions sometimes when I sleep." They were actually pretty weird sometimes. When I was younger, I had to see a therapist because I didn't know what they were at the time. "I know things before they happen."

Zach looked surprised and I ripped my arm out of his hold and continued to walk down the stairs to leave. I sighed, "Look, I gotta go. I just wanna go and find my mother." It was all I really wanted was to find my Mom. "Let me do this, Zachery."

Zach groaned, "Fine, Rose. But you better be back soon."

I grinned and stopped. I turned to look at him and promised, "I will. I won't leave New Orleans for good without saying goodbye."

Zach nodded, "Alright, then."

I smirked, "I'll see you later, Zachery Gerard."

Zach smiled, "I can't wait, Rosalie Stilinski."

I grinned and turned away from him. I continued my trip down the stairs and out to my car. I threw the bags into the car before leaving New Orleans for my long journey.

I stopped in front of the house and looked at it. I took my glasses off and got out of the car. I reached back in and grabbed my backpack before walking up to the door. I pressed my ear against the door and listened for anything. When I heard nothing, I picked the lock and walked inside.

The place looked beautiful and I couldn't help but study it while I looked around. I walked into the kitchen and laid my backpack on the counter. I heard another car roll up but I didn't bother looking at it. However, I did pay attention when I was thrown back into the counter. I went to move only to be pushed back down and to have a hand on my throat.

When I looked at my attacker, I was surprised by the face. It was that of my mother's and she hadn't aged a day. She pushed me down harder and asked: "Who the bloody hell are you?"

I held my hands up and informed, "Just a witch."

She scoffed and pushed me down harder to where I could feel my bones having to heal themselves over and over. She warned, "Witches aren't allowed here."

I assured, "I think you'll be interested in who I am." When I reached back to get the map, she pushed down even harder and I groaned. "I'm just getting a map."

Her hold loosened some and I grabbed the map from the side pocket of my backpack. I held it out to her and she looked at it. I admitted, "My name's Rose." The grip got even looser before snapping back into place. "I used a locator spell so that I could find my mother. I haven't seen her since I was four!"

Her grip around my throat left and she grabbed me by my jacket and shirt before slamming me into the fridge. The woman started, "If you are lying"

I cut her off, "I'm not. In my pocket is a picture of us from when I was a kid."

She let one hand drop and search my jacket pockets before pulling out the picture. She saw the back and I knew that it read 'Rosalie and Mum, 2000'. The picture had been taken when I was 3 and I had carried it with me all the time. She turned it over and gasped before letting me go. I fixed my shirt and jacket before asking, "Believe me now?"

The woman looked at me with tears in her eyes and pulled me into a hug. I returned it and she whispered, "Sweetheart..." When she pulled away, she cupped my face and softly spoke. "I have missed you."
