Angel and Demon

Angel sat on the roof of an old building. She watched as Night's singal lite the sky. Angel flicked her light brunnete hair out of her way. Night was her second heart. They were ying and yang.

So why does it feel like they both are exactly the same with no difference? Night was born of darkness and Angel of light. That's why they came up with these names. Before any of this started, before they even knew how to control their powers. When they were younger and fighters dealing with life as normal teenage girls. Going to high school falling in love and being misused. Sadly Angel was always being saved by Night. Night never had any trouble with friends or family, and if she did she never brought it up. That's how she lived taking everyone else's pains and turning them happy, asking for nothing in return. Night was more of a creature of light but not in the eyes of the light people.

Angel stood up and looked back at the other choosen ones. Some badly wonded and sadly one dead. Angel looked down at the bloody sheets. He was gone, he who always had her back. He died sadly in her arms, just liked their daughter did.

"Angel, I sorry for your lose." Rebecca said behind Angel. Rebecca's red hair fell in curls around her face. "He was a great fighter, but he was also only human. He wasnt going to live as long as you are."

"Ya I know but still I loved him." Angel said. "How long till Night gets here?" Angel asked.

"She said she'll be here soon." Rebecca said before she left.

Angel sighed.

"Okay Jathose and I are going to be back in a few. I have to visit some friends. " I said as I walked away and hopped into my beatiful mustang. I found it awhile back and decided I wanted it. With her i could easily get to my friends and back.

Jathose gave me a look but jumped in putting his seatbelt on. "Scaried of my driving or something?" I asked putting her in gear and high tailing in out of that cursed building, and let me tell you this it felt good to be dirfting around  and feeling my mustang move in response to the pressure on the gas peddle.

"When you drive like this yes." Jathose said. I laughed and let me and my mustang have some fun we haven't had for a while. Let's say I wanted to be a racer before all this zombie stuff happened.

I still do even if I've been destined to save this world from the Devil.Which sadly envolves me dieing, again.

I looked over to where the singal still glowed. I was getting close and could tell they had a zombie crowd. I guess it is a good thing I made some special secrets for my mustang. One counts as a machine gun, which was so useful during the first few zombie months, but now i need something jump off and I could use the wings i built to it to land on the roof. Lucky me I had a perfect ramp.

"Don't even think about it." Jathose said, a little to late. He grabbed the wheel before I could made it to the ramp. "Not that way we will find another way. "

"He's foolish you have no other way enless you use your name and let your wings go."

The demon was back and seemed very unhappy that I haven't used my name yet. "Then how are we gonna?" I asked.

"Let me think." Jathose said making sure I didnt turn the car back to the ramp. "I have an idea, ditch the car and take the sewer."

"Boy do you know how much I love this car. She is my love. I love her more then I love you."I said putting my hands on the dashboard.

"We will come back to her I promise." He said but he still had to wrestle me out of my wonder mustang.

In the gross, stinky, disgusting sewer I followed his order wishing to be back with my baby she wanted me. Jathose kept his gun out just in case but I sensed no zombie in this part of the sewer. Amazingly they were staying out of the sewer, then again I don't blam them it stinks. With rabid rats that look like they are zombies themselves, who knows they probabaly are.

I pulled my shirt up over my nose and mouth trying to stop some of the smell. "How much longer?" I asked. I hated being in here I feel like the ground might collapse on my head.

"Right about here." Jathose said putting his hand gun down and pushing open a door. Strange a door all way down here, I'd ask but something tells me it was when they banned drinking in America. Secret tunnels to just to get a drink even if it was down in the sewer. Maybe it is a good thing most humans are zombies maybe the world can start over and we can all start over.

Sadly that is just a wish that wont be answered.

As soon as Jathose opened the door guns were aimed at our heads.

"Wait hold it." Angel's voice said from somewhere behind the bright lights and guns. "That's Night and Jathose."

The guns dropped and so did the lights so I could make out about ten people in the room and five of them armed. My best bet is I could still take them down even with all their fancy guns, specially if they dont take the safety off. Which they still haven't done.

Angel came up and threw her arms around me and sadly almost threw me off balance. All the armor she was wearing weighed alot more then i did at the moment. "Angel I saw the singal I'm sorry." I said wrapping my arms around her and letting her cry.

"It was horrible! I couldn't do anythying about it . Nothing was going according to plan. I suck at leading this army have it back!" She said making some of the people behind her cringe.

"I would but I don't think they want me." I said in response. Judging by all their evil eyes they didn't want me in the same room  with them much less lead them into war.

"I don't care they don't know how you can do anything with with only a few quick steps." Angel said.

Jathose cleared his throat. "Ya and some of those ideas are very scary." He said earning a look from me and startled looks from the rest of the people in the room.

"Why don't we go somewhere else." I said wanting to leave the underground. I fly not dig.

We ended up on the roof which I completly didnt mind. I looked toward the spot where I hide my mustang and almost jumped off the roof. My baby was still perfectly fine but looked exteremly lonely. Jathose wrapped his arms around my waist before I could jump.

"Night you haven't changed much." Rebecca said as she looked at me a smiled at me trying to free myself so I rescue my baby.

"Ya niether have you." I said bitterly. She still was annoying bad word. Wishing death on her was to nice considering she was the one who took my son before he was born. Jathose didn't like her either I mean it was his son to.

Rebecca took off and Angel looked at me. She knew nothing about that night withe the rain falling down and me crying as I sat there in the darkness wishing to bring my son back even though all the power in the world couldn't help me to bring him back no matter what i used.

I shook my head and said. "Did you tell him before he died?' I asked.

She looked at me and shook her head. "I was gonna tell him as soon as we got to shelter. I was imaging how much he would be happy. He wanted children and now I'm having his without him being here." She collapsed on the ground and played with the white powder from the briks."I hope our child will be able to live in a world without these zombies, but now I want to have my husband here with me to help our child grow."

I nodded my head and sat on the ground by her. "We will get ride of these zombies. I'll purify this whole world."

"Promise?" She asked her eyes filled with tears.

"Yes I promise you." I said as I looked out toward the zombie mob gathered around the base of the building. "Now let's get out here. Do you have anything to drive?" I asked.

She nodded her head and smiled. "We have a bus and ofcourse a tank."

"You had me at tank.' I said handing my keys over to Jathose who just shook his head.
