Little Family 2

Woohyun walked out of the shopping mall with three big shopping bags in his hands and little Ken trailing behind his heavy footsteps. The street was a little busy as it's a weekend today and that explains the amount of people he had to put up with at the cashier counter.

The sun was hotter than it was yesterday. All thanks to SoNi who had turned him into a housewife and maid as well.

"Woohyun, Can I have an ice cream, Please? ", Ken said making a cute baby face that he can't say no to.

He already had three cones since they arrived at the mall. Ice cream addicts. Like mother like son. There was this one time back in college, SoNi had bitten his fingers because he snatch an empty ice cream cone from her. She would've definitely killed him if cream was still in it.

He smiled at the thought. He wonders if she still remembers that.

Dropping the bags inside the boot of her car, he helped the boy in before closing the door and went for the ice cream.

SoNi is somewhere around this place, so she told him. He keep on thinking of her recent actions towards him which started the night he talked about marrying her. For some reasons he has absolutely no clue to, she is avoiding him and always comes home very late.

But he didn't give up, even if it annoys her to death, he keeps on pestering her. Also Ken has taking a liking to him and he adores the child.

Can't she see how perfect it will be for him to father her child?

"Woohyun!".

He swirl around and sees SoNi waving at him from the crowd of bystanders. In her hand are two cones of ice creams.

She never get tired of it.

"What took you so long?", he questioned walking to her.

Her face look pale, tired and filled with stress and something about her eyes told him she has been crying", What happened?", he asked worried and ready to hurt whoever it is that made her cry.

She flick away a tear which she wasn't able to hide from him", I'm Fine....", She lied constantly looking behind her for any trace of that person", Where is Ken?... We should be leaving now".

Now he knows why she is eating ice cream. Damn! How could he forget how she used to console herself with just eating it in the past.

What an incompetent friend he is?

She starts to walk away from him but he grip her shoulder softly, making her pause her steps", Who made you cry?", he probed turning her around so that she can face his flaring facet.

She quickly removed his arm", Don't get involved in my mess of a life Woohyun. It's really none of your business".

How can she say that? ", Your life became my priority from the day I started loving you, SoNi.....", he blurted out without thinking.

It's feels so good hearing the man you've always love confessing to you. How she wish she can relieve in the moment. But no, she is forbidden to rejoice nor accept his heart", I got Ken a new babysitter.... You may return back tomorrow. We arranged for two weeks only remember?". She turn deaf to his feelings.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's going on with your life", he protested.

She gave away the cones of ice cream to two kids tugging at her leg before facing Woohyun", I don't need you in my life Woohyun. I never did", another lie that brought tears to her eyes.
