~Tyler Joseph. Age 16. April 14.~
We got into her car, which looked better than most of the others in the lot. "So, what's your address?" she said as we pulled out of the lot. "[Made up address]." I replied. "Oh cool, I live near there. Only a street down." she was focused on the road as she talked, and her hands were both on the wheel. That made me feel safe. "Nice." I replied to her. "I heard that it was your birthday, J?" "Yep. It's my lucky day. I got registered for my license a few days ago. So I can now legally drive." she chuckled. "That's great!" I said. "Thank you Tyler."
We arrived at my house. There weren't any cars in the driveway, and the lights were off. "Ah shit. I don't have my keys." I said. "Well that ain't good.". I tried to text my mom, but she only respnded with "Too bad we're out!", and my dad wouldn't get the messages. "Do you have an extra key?" she asked "No, my mom let's me get one key, either for my house or for a car, and I don't have a car." She laughed at the dry humor and said this: "W-Well we can just go to my house if you want?". "Sure, but you aren't going to do weird stuff with me right?" I asked jokingly. "What? No! Oh my god Tyler!" she laughed.
We got into the driveway and saw a car. The license plate said something like "I M GR10" and it made me smile. "We are here m'lord" she said in a british accent. "And lookie who's here! It'd be the lord number two." she said as a guy with bright pink hair walked over to her and hugged her. He looked at me, then at Jill. "Joshua, this be Tyler." Jill said "Nice!" he said. "So.. You're Joshua? Are you-" he cut me off as though he had read my mind.
"I'm her gay best friend."
