Josh had regained full strength, land learned what had happened to him.
He apparently went into a coma after driving with a girl named Jill, and a boy named Tyler.
He and Tyler grew very close after the incident, while Jill was killed in the crash.
He was headed out for the day with Tyler.

"H-hey, Josh. What's up?"
"Nothing much, how about you?"
"I'm good... Well.. I guess I'm good. I-I have s-something to talk to y-you about." Tyler replied, obviously nervous.
"Tyler, i-it's okay, talk to me."
"Well, Josh, I- I l-like you... a lot and I-"
Tyler looked Josh into the eyes.
"Do you maybe want to, uhm, gooutonadatewithme?" he said the last part quickly.
Josh instantly smiled, making Tyler smile a little, too.
"Y-yeah. I'd like that."
