"Peace wake up!!!" Ares says
shaking me
"What is it ?" I ask getting up from the couch
"It's your mother, she says that she's at the hospital." Eurydice says walking into the room
I begin to panic, My mother hadn't been to the hospital since I was 10 years old, which was exactly 6 years ago.
"She fell down the stairs, the doctors think she has CHM." Ares adds
My eyes widen.My mother went to nursing school for 4 years and still has all her nursing books. I skim through a lot of them from time to time, so I happen to know that CHM or Chloroidermia is a rare genetic disease that causes blindless.
I begin to cry without realizing it.
"Suck it up." Eurydice says cooly
I look at her with disbelief. Ares glares at her.
"What, it's true. She can't go all her life crying about little things in life." She continues
"Says the one who cried for 3 months, after Aaron Samuels said she was a bad kisser." Ares says coyly
"Ares!" Eurydice says bewildered
"What, it's true." He says mocking her exact words "And remember 7th grade year, when we had to transfer schools because Bill Rodds cheated on you with big butt Belinda and you cried non-stop."
"Ares stop." I whisper "I just want to go see my mom."
He stares at me for a few seconds, before grabbing his keys and guiding me to the car.
