ELSA POV
After a few months it was time. My stomach was getting bigger and we were going to need our own space.
Jacks arm remained around me as we walked to our new home. Our OWN place. Not the Workshop were Pitch can find us easily.
"Jack, wait." I stopped right outside the door of the castle. The mountain was deserted, thank goodness.
"You alright?" He asked.
"I don't know. I guess I just..." I rubbed my stomach.
"I get it. I really do. I'm so sorry Elsa, it's all my fault."Jack held back tears.
"Hey, it's gonna be alright." I smiled, placing both my hands on his cheeks.
"Promise?"
"Promise." I reassured him, he had taken this the worst. I pushed open the ice door and smiled. It was the exact replica of my old Ice Palace.
"Let's go." Jack smiled and walked in, holding my hand. Suddenly I felt something. A sharp, but odd sensation in my stomach. Can it be?
"Jack!" I cried. He looked at me warily.
"What?"
"The baby! It's alive! I felt it kick! Here, give me your hand." I placed his hand on my slightly swollen tummy .
"Oh my god!" He laughed, "Thank GOD!" He yelled and kissed me on the lips. A long, dreamy kiss. "We have to tell the Guardians!"
NORTH POV
Elsa and Jack arrived just after we heard some shocking news from Man in moon.
"Guys! The baby is okay!" Jack beamed. Tooth began to cry. "Tooth?"
"Oh Jack! Haven't you heard?" She sobbed. Jack looked puzzled.
"Jack, we have just heard that you only have a few weeks left. Maybe even one week." I explained. He realised about the curse Pitch had set on him. Then the colour drained from his face and he fell. I caught him before he hit the floor. He was coming over all clammy. "Jack? Can you hear me?" I asked him. He was out of it.
"What's happened?" Tooth asked.
"It's taking it's toll. He hasn't long left. If we are going to kill Pitch, we have to do it quickly." I announced and then took him over to a couch, and laid him down. Elsa paced the room. Ice formed wherever she stepped. She rubbed her arms and muttered things.
"Get it together. Control it." She would chant. I put my hands on her shoulders and made her look at me.
"Elsa. There is no need. If you let your powers loose you won't hurt anyone because here is no stress." I smiled at her. She smiled at me and went to sit with Jack. Stroking his hair and kissing his forehead.
After a while she was asleep next to him.
Jack awoke.
"North?" He croaked.
"Shh!" I said pointing at a sleeping Elsa.
"I don't have long do I?" He whispered weakly. I sadly shook my head. "If I don't make it, will you promise me something?"
"Anything."
"Look after Elsa and our child." Jack smiled as he stroked Elsa's cheek.
"Of course. It would be an honour." I smiled. "You hungry?" Jack nodded eagerly.
"Yeah!"
"Wake up Elsa, and then I'll get the yetis to cook." I smiled.
ELSA POV
"Thanks North. I feel a lot better now." Jack smiled as he gulped down the last of his hot chocolate. I nodded too. It as nice how North was looking after us.
"Ok mate." Bunny said walking in, "we cannot wait any longer. We have to go fight Pitch!"
"I agree! Let's go. Before .... Before it's too late." I smiled weakly at Jack.
"No Elsa. You aren't coming with us." Jack said sternly.
"What!?"
"Not with your condition." He said wrapping his arm around me. "I promise I'll be back soon."
"No Jack. Please let me come!" I begged. He shook his head.
"Sorry Elsa."
"He's right Elsa. You can't come. What if something happened to you?" Tooth said putting her hand on my shoulder.
"What am I supposed to do? Stay here alone!?" I exclaimed. The guardians exchanged looks.
"Umm.."
"Oh great!" I huffed and stood up. "Fine. I feel sick anyway. Just promise me something."
"What?" Jack answered.
"You'll come back?" I whispered. He nodded and kissed me.
"Always."
