chapter six

These six weeks have past quickly. Anna and madison switch each weekend either staying with us or madison’s dad.

This evening we are going to pick gypsy up from the learning center. He is an official madison’s house. It is quite the relief of having a weekend to ourselves and time away from Annamarie.

This evening after school and we get Anna and Madison we are going to get gypsy. We are all excited even if valentino doesn’t show it.

We go to school, me in my car with Anna, and val behind us in his.

I haven’t cut since that day at school even though every day i have the sensation to. Val would never forgive me if i did it again but really i couldn’t help it.

I drop Anna off and head to the school pulling in beside christa,stormy, maddox, and maxwell while val pulls in beside me.

Maddox has his arm around storm while maxwell had his around christa. “By the looks of this i’m guessing that you all had a great time last night.” i say as i get out of the car.

The girls blush while both guys nod to my sentence. “So are you all boyfriend and girlfriend now?” I hear val ask the boys while the girls come to my car and start talking about their dates.

I try to listen to Christa and storm but all I hear is “the nerd who cut”

“Why is she still here?”

“Shouldn't she be dead?”

Laughs at that statement. “She's like the walking dead. Just half dead no longer alive.”and whispers about me all over the parking lot. Some aren't whispers at all they intentionally wanted me to hear.

The girls stop talking once they realize that I've zoned out. I see that Christa has called Val and the boys over so Val could help get me in the school.

We head to our spot in the library with me still zoned out thinking about what people were saying and I start breathing heavily.

“Zay! Zay snap out of it!” I hear val say but I can't as my breathing gets worse.

Val keeps telling at me but eventually I pass out. After what feels like going around in darkness for forever I can open my eyes.

I see that I'm still in the library with people  surrounding me. “G-get a-away f-from m-me.” I tell them before scattering away from them.

I tremble as one of the boys that were surrounding me comes towards me.

“P-please s-stay a-away f-from m-me.” I say trying to sound intimidating.

“Zay, are you scared of me?” The guy says, I look up and realize I know him.

“V-Val I-i w-want t-to g-go h-ome……” I tell him. He nods picks me up and then says, “Maddox  get Anna and Madison and bring them home. Maxwell you go get gypsy and bring him home, you can take zay’s car home as well.”

Everyone nods then moves out of the way for val and I. Val tosses my keys to Maxwell and he catches them.

He then takes me to his car, I'm guessing, and puts me carefully in the front seat. During the ride home I fall asleep and dream.

I wake up to being back at school. I see val and the twins standing between my car and another.

I watch as two girls and I walk up to the boys. I remember their names are Christabel and stormy.

It continues as my mind replays the first day we all met.
