The loud noise of muggles chattering in Kings Cross Train Station always amused her, as she ran through the station towards the direction of her platform, she thought if the muggles she ran past ever wondered why she had a trolley with 2 trunks and a cat. She thought about many possible outcomes, and if they did think about it, one could possibly be due to the muggle war.
Her thoughts on the oblivious muggles soon came to a halt when the view of platforms 9 and 10 came into view. She watched the small wizarding family ahead run towards the wall and disappear, she looked up towards the small clock above her and saw that it was 10:55 am, a wave of panic rushed over her as she couldn't be late for her train on her first day back to school.
Time management had never been a good skill with her, she cursed herself under her breath as she ran towards the wall between platform 9 and 10, within seconds she was on Platform 9 & ¾'s and the Hogwarts Express came into view.
The little Welsh girl couldn't help but smile, she had always loved going to Hogwarts and spending her school year learning new things about the Wizarding community and being with friends. She ran to the luggage carriage and signed in her belongings, picking up her cat she walked to the first carriage.
The strong smell of different wizards and witches hit her as soon as she stepped on, it was a comforting smell and she smiled to herself. As she walked down the corridor of the first carriage she looked into the compartment looking for two specific people.
On the last compartment of the first carriage, she caught eyes with the young French witch who transferred to Hogwarts the year previous from Beauxbatons, from day one they hadn't got along due to the French witch's unknown hatred towards her.
She quickly turned her head and opened the door to the next compartment. As she entered she could hear the sound of children laughing in the first compartment, the small group of first years laughed as one of them seemingly attempted to do magic but failed miserably as he looked as if he had blown something up. She laughed and carried on down the corridor.
It wasn't until she heard the loud laughs that would come from the compartment in front that she realised that she had found her friends. She quickly walked towards the compartment but before she could reach to open the door the Hogwarts Express started its journey towards Hogsmeade Station in Scotland.
When she had finally got her balance back from her little stumble she opened the door to see the whole compartment full of young sixth and seventh-year witch's heads turn towards her. They all smiled brightly at her when she stood there.
Her eyes looked around the room in search for one girl in particular. Her eyes eventually landed on the pale, black haired girl known as Morgandy Crook, a Ravenclaw student in her seventh year, and one of her many best friends.
"Congratulations, Morg." The young Welsh witch spoke up. "Do you think I'd be able to get away with sneaking out at night now that I am friends with the Head Girl?"
The girls all laughed in unison and Morgandy stood up showing off her tall, lanky figure and opened her arms to hug the sixth year witch. "Very funny, Ophelia." She said wrapping her arms the slightly smaller witch. "But unfortunately, as Head Girl, I cannot allow young to sneak out past be time to be with Dove & Nicole or Emory. Especially when Emory is Head Boy now!"
As Morgandy and Ophelia released each other from their grip, Ophelia was soon embraced by none other than Dove Snowberry, the small blonde girl wrapped her arms tightly around Ophelia's chest as Ophelia handed her cat to Morgandy. Dove looked up to her best friend and smiled, her hazel eyes shining from the reflection of sunlight. Ophelia smiled back at her friend, knowing what that smile meant.
