No matter how hard she closed her eyes or how many times she moved, Ophelia Lockwood could not for the life of her fall asleep. All she saw was Rune crying. She knew herself that Rune couldn't sleep, so to stop her worrying state she stood up from her bed and headed to her wardrobe.

Ophelia opened it up but quickly shut it and ran towards the window to check on the state of the weather. She hardly saw much, the snow had stopped but throughout out the night, it would come and go, adding layer on top of layer to the snow that had already set on the ground. She walked back over to the wardrobe and grabbed a pair of trousers, a top, two pairs of socks and a clean pair of underwear.

Removing her bed wear, Ophelia quickly dressed into the clothes she had just pulled out of the wardrobe trying to keep as warm as possible and trying to avoid the cold December air. What she was wearing wasn't enough to keep her warm despite two pairs of socks, so she headed back over to the wardrobe grabbing another pair of socks along with her cardigan and wellies.

Putting on her socks and wellies, Ophelia rushed downstairs as she put on her cardigan. She was soon back upstairs in her bathroom brushing her teeth trying not to wake her parents or her brother in the next room.

She rushed back down the stairs and to her coat rack where her scarf and coat were left when she came home. As she reached the bottom step she had forgotten that she had left her trunk at the bottom of the stairs, stubbing her toe and trying not to scream out in pain. Even with three pairs of socks and a pair of wellies on the pain of banging your toe on her trunk still managed to find its way in.

Remembering that she had placed her wand in her trunk just after she returned home, Ophelia opened it grabbing her wand and a pair of gloves. She placed the gloves in one pocket and her wand in the other, although only four inches of her wand was able to fit into her pocket.

She grabbed her scarf and put it on feeling the warmth more, she picked up her coat and went into the kitchen looking for one thing in particular. Instead of finding her dad's most prized possession she instead found her cat glaring up at her.

"Don't give me that look, Achro," Ophelia said looking down at her, "you know what I'm doing is for the right reason, Rune's my friend, and at this time he needs friends to comfort him."

Achromatic only meowed in response, which she wasn't surprised at that's all Achromatic seemed to do. Achromatic walked over to the small cupboard that Ophelia's mum kept the ironing board in and meowed once again.

Ophelia walked over not knowing why she was listening to her cat and sure enough when the door opened in front of her eyes was her dad's most prized possession, his brand new Cleansweep Five, like any other wizard or witch from Wales if they showed a huge interest in Quidditch or had family who did, you'd support the Holyhead Harpies and nearly every team member had a brand new Cleansweep Five, which was currently the must-have in Quidditch.

Before she could grab it from the cupboard the light in the kitchen turned on. Ophelia snapped her head towards the switch to find her brother looking at her with a confused and annoyed expression on his face.

"Ophelia, I know I said we'd talk about Rune in the morning but not at four am," Adonis shook his head as he tried not to yawn, "get back up to bed, we'll talk at a reasonable time later today."

"You're right," Ophelia looked to her cat as Adonis yawned away, she walked over to him and began guiding him out of the kitchen, "come let's get you to bed."

Ophelia helped her brother up the stairs and into his own bed, trying her best for him to not notice the day clothes and outwear she was currently wearing. As Ophelia tucked in Adonis, Achromatic jumped up onto his bed and began meowing.
