10. Better Lover

I wrote this next song not after a breakup but after I stopped talking with someone, as many do. Rejection is one of the hardest things to go through and a lot of people go through it very often. I used to pray and beg that people that really meant something to me would stay but it wasn't long before I realized I had only wasted time. If you have to beg once, you'd probably have to do it a lot more than once after. Everyone deserves someone who really cares about them, without you begging them to. Find the ones who care, leave the ones who don't. It's not worth the work. Focus on finding /creating yourself and you'll eventually stumble across someone else, someone a lot better. This song is a reminder that if one good love dies, it's only because there's a better one coming. This is for Daya.
