I wrote this song about a year ago and I knew as soon as the melody came to mind who'd be perfect to sing this one, a newer band no other than DNCE. It's got a pop/rock tone to it much like their songs and I think they'd be perfect to bring this song to life, if ever given the opportunity, lol. I wrote this after well you could've guessed it, falling for someone who's taken. In times of trouble, (Mother Mary comes to me) I, much like the brilliant song, let it be. I've come to learn that this was the best thing to do, as it is merely the one thing we can do really. You might not believe that everything happens for a reason, but you have to believe that at least some things do. If it weren't for something bad, you wouldn't have gotten the one good thing. Take from experiences to create something to your own benefit and you'll be amazed at what better things you'll find. Learn, create, and let it be. This one's for DNCE.
