I opened my locker only to have a letter flutter to the ground. I crouched down and picked up the small piece of paper delicately.

Is that Italian? I asked myself. I felt heat rushing to my cheeks. I had no idea what the words meant but I felt like it was something special. I folded the paper and carefully placed it in my back pocket. I rushed to my next class, realizing that I was going to be late.
~The next day~
I took a deep breath, feeling my heart flutter. What if there's another note? I grinned at the thought. I slowly put in my locker combination, 19, 35, 24....
A small piece of paper was laying on top of my English book.

"Kankri!" I called my best friend over to me. He walked over slowly.
"Yeah?" He sounded nervous.
"Someone's leavwing me lovwe notes! Vwell im not sure if its lovwe notes but I think it is!" I grinned at him.
"That's sweet." He smiled lightly.
"It really is! It makes me feel special!" I gushed. He smiled brightly before heading to his next class. I wish you loved me....I thought as he walked away.
~one week later~
I was sitting at home on my computer and began goggling the translations for all my notes.

It was all Italian.....
And then I remembered something.....
Kankri speaks Italian.

"Uh, k-kanny?" I said nervously.
"Si?" He hummed.
"Ti amo." I smiled. His eyes widened before he let out a soft giggle.
"Vwhat?" I frowned.
"Nothing! Its just odd to hear you speak Italian. Wait.....did you just say ti amo?" His eyes widened.
"Yeah...." I blushed while nodding slightly. "Please don't tell me you weren't the one puttin' those notes in my locker?"
"Oh! Uh....yeah that was me..." He blushed heavily.
"Avw that's cute Kanny." I grinned at him. He blushed even more.
"Kankri Vantas I havwe lovwed you since the day I met you. Your so beautiful, and strong, and amazing. I lovwe the vway you look at the ground vwhen you smile, the vway you covwer your mouth vwhen you giggle, the vway your eyes light up vwhen you talk about something you lowve, I lowve your vwoice, everything. Im not vwery good vwith these things but I knowv I lovwe you and i vwant to be vwith you forevwer. So vwill you be my boyfriend?" I smiled hopefully. He clamped a hand over his mouth and nodded quickly before tackling me in a hug.
"I love you to Cronus! So so much!" He laughed. I gripped onto him tightly and pulled him down into a sweet, soft kiss. His lips melted against mine.
And think this all started with one simple note.
