Chapter 7: Let's Do This

Our plane landed and we walked over to the baggage claim area to get all of our bags. My dad began walking over to a man who looked like he was in his early 40's. That must be their manager Steve.

A few people came over to grab our bags. They must be with the Magcon crew. They made me feel kind of famous.. because famous people never carry their own things, people do it for them.

"Thank you." I smiled at the three workers who took our stuff. Never hurts to be polite. :) They just nodded their heads as a welcome.

I was actually pretty calm for the situation.

"How's my hair?" My sister asked me, while looking in the mirror.

I decided to mess with her. I made a shocked expression. "Oh my gosh."

Her eyes began to grow wide.

"What!?"

"Nothing." I laughed. "Your curls are still perfectly in place. Chill." I smiled.

She just gave me a stern look. Guess she didn't find it funny.

When we turned the corner, she took a deep sudden breath.

Remember when I said I was calm for the situation? Well I was.. until I saw Taylors white bandana. That's when all the nerves started kicking in. My heart was beating so fast, I felt like I was about to pass out.

I grabbed my sisters hand.

"Wait." I stopped her.

I gave her a piece of gum, and sprayed a light hint of perfume on us.

I did a fast prayer in my head and gave her a nod.

"We've been waiting for this for months." I sighed. "Let's give a good impression."

She took a deep breath and nodded. "Let's do this."
