I couldn't do that to Matthew.. no matter how much I really wanted Carter. I just couldn't. I really think Matt has my heart, and I know who I want now.

"Carter look. Don't get me wrong, I think your extremely attractive. I have since the first time I found out about Magcon, and that's not gonna change but-"

"But you like Matt?" He asked.

I sighed. Do I like Matt? Or just lust for him? Hm...

"I honestly THINK I do."

He slid down against the wall and I sat across from him. His eyes were watery, I could tell he was fighting the tears.

I chuckled a bit. "Wow.."

He looked up from the floor.

"It's just- it's the other way around now. It's crazy."

"What do you mean?"

"You know how seeing me with Matt kills you?"

He nodded his head up and down.

"Before I met you guys and I was just a fan, that's how I felt when I would see you with girls.. and believe it or not, I have cried once because I really wanted to be her, and see how it felt to just.. be yours."

"It hurts so much.." He said softly.

"Yeah, it really does. And when you guys go around posting pictures with really pretty girls left and right.. that's how you're making us feel."

"Wow, i'll keep that in mind now.."

I gave him a comforting nod. "They'll appreciate it."

It was quiet now. I think we were just coming to terms with where we stand now. Friends, and only friends.

I admired his beauty.. from his hair because his hat wasn't on, to his perfect lips. His eyes were cleared up now. "Let's go in?"

He stood up and brushed himself off, I smiled. He's so cute.

I looked at my candy bags. I can't wait to get these suckers in my stomach. "Thanks for everything by the way."

"No problem." He smiled. Which made me smile even more. I wonder if I just made the right choice by keeping us friends.. I mean he's all I wanted this whole time, and now that i'm able to have the opportunity, i'm not taking it?
