Prologue

Aphmau's  P.O.V

I walked down the calm streets of our peaceful town. The stars shone brightly above me, in the endless, dark night sky. I let out a breath that I was not aware that I was holding as the cool breeze rippled through my raven hair. "Hey Aph," I heard Aaron say from behind me. He startled me a little but I laughed it off because he has been one of my best friends since High school. I spun around to see his tall figure loom over me. "Hey Aaron. What are you doing out at this time of night?" I asked. "I should be asking you," He calmly said as we continued to walk down our street. "Oh I was just going on a walk," I lied. I actually went out because I wanted to see something new or exciting but just like every other boring night in this town, nothing had happened. "I went to the shop," He said. We continued  to walk down the road until we reached the house that was a home to Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn and I for only a four months. "See you later Aph," Aaron said, then waved back to me. I smiled back at him and stepped into the warmth of my house and a scent of cookies filled my nose.

I plopped down onto the couch, next to my blue haired friend. Her head was buried deep into the brightly covered book. "How was your-" She began to say but she was interrupted by my phone ringing. "Hey Aph, no time to explain I am getting chased by the police because he had escaped and murdered my teacher," She heard a familiar voice answer. "YOU DID WHAT!" I shouted into my phone. I was now getting looks from my room mates. "A 'Hi Sam, I could set you up with a place to stay' Would have been nice," Sam sarcastically replied. I flipped my fringe out of my way whilst taking a deep breath. "Look I can let you stay with me but I have room mates and I will have to ask them first," I said whilst turning to my friends with pleading eye's. They booth looked at each other with concern plastered across their faces, before turning to me with a uncertain nod.  "Text me when you loose them and your at Phionex city Mall." I quickly said before hanging up. 

"Who was that?" Katelyn asked, before closing her book. I sighed and tucked a loose strand of hair behind my right ear. "My friend," I simply said. " Whats her name?" Katelyn asked. I cleared my throat and said "His name is Sam," And put extra emphasis on 'his'. "Aphmau~Senpi asked a boy to stay with us!" Kawaii~Chan said in shock. A smirk crawled onto Katelyn's face, then she pulled out her phone and started typing. "The boy's are going to be so mad!" Katelyn shouted. Before I could react a sandy blonde haired man shattered our beautiful front door and stormed up to me with four angry men in tow. "Before all of you go rip his head off, he is related to me so it won't be anything like that," I said whilst holding my arms up in defense. Then I see all of their faces soften. "Also thanks for breaking our front door Garroth!" I say whilst glaring at the man in front of me. we all laughed a little then Katelyn proposed an idea, a bad idea at that. "Why don't you guys stay for a bit and wait to meet Aph's cousin," She said with a slight hint of mischief in her voice. 'Oh no'

As if on cue, my phone rang and every bodies head turned to me. I shakily picked up my phone and answered. "Hey Sam, You there?" I asked. I could feel everyone watching me. "Yeah!" He replied in exhaustion and pride. "Okay, I will be there in like ten minutes, meet at star bucks Okay," I said. I heard him sigh and I took that as a yes. "Good, see you later." I swiftly said and before he could react I hung up. I took a deep breath and walked towards were my front door would have been if a certain some body didn't smash it. "Can I come?" I heard a pleading Aaron ask. "Sure, why not," I said. I motioned for him to follow me. We walked up to my black car and started our way to see Sam.

"Who is he really?" Aaron said whilst we were driving. I looked at him with a confused expression. "I know you were lying," He said. He then rested his chin on his hand that was  balancing on the window edge. "He is technically related to me but not in the way they think I mean and that's all I am telling you," I said, after letting a defeated sigh escape my mouth. He looked satisfied with my answer and just looked into the night sky. It was filled with twinkling dot's that created masterpieces in the night. The peculiar thing was the absents of the moon. So the stars looked like little spots of light in a dark room that didn't do anything to illuminate the dark place. And we continued the car ride in silence drowned in our own thoughts.

We walked into Star bucks and it was easier than a slice of cake to find him. I ran up to him and jumped onto him engulfing him in my arms. "Hey Aph, long time no see, how are you?" He said, pulling away. "No time for chit chat we need to go home and introduce you to everyone!" I said excitedly. I waved Aaron over and he he smiled at Sam. "Sam this is my friend Aaron, I have known him since the end of middle school. And Aaron this is my friend Sam, I have known him since birth. " I say introducing them both. They smile warmly at each other and said hi. I began to drag Sam out the door and I think everyone was shocked that I , a 4'10 girl, was able to drag Sam , a 5'10 man, out of star bucks. I knew he didn't want to leave because he was tired and had a long day yet he had to meet a bunch of new people. But he has to deal with it. We got into my car and started driving home in silence. I have finally got Sam back. He has finally got his Aphmau.
