Grian's P.O.V

Tautis and I were quietly strolling through the peaceful forest. He was complaining that Sam wouldn't be here. Despite Tautis being his Sam's best friend, I know Sam. There were two things that I learnt really quickly whilst I had known him; he likes to climb and he hates people. That is why a forest is an idle place for someone like him. It would put his mind at ease knowing that he surrounded by wildlife, in a tree, with no people. Also, it's a great place to hide.

As I was saying, Tautis and I were wandering through the forest whilst he was complaining, when we came across a small pond in a clearing. That's when I was at least ninety percent sure he was here. Peace, isolation and a freshwater source. So I paused.

"I don't think he is going to be here!" Tautis whined for the millionth time today. I'm starting to think we should have made a bet on this. "I doubt you know where he would be," I said harshly as I looked around me. That was the first time I answered him since we set foot in this forest, "Sorry I can't hear you I have headphones on!" he shouted slightly. Oh, I see. Whilst we were walking I kept telling him that I couldn't hear him over the sound of me ignoring him. Touché.

Why am I even doing this? This is Sam's problem, not mine. "I could have just stayed in England but no, I had to come look for Sam," I mumbled to myself as I took another step forward. Then....

THUD!

I spun around to be greeted by the sight of a familiar brown haired boy sitting on Tautis.

"Sam?"

I was right! I knew that he would be here. Why didn't I make a bet with Tautis?

"Sam!" I said as I was about to hug him but all he said was "Charlie..."

Charlie? Oh, right. Sam had mentioned him once and said that he was his older brother. However, I know for a fact that he was an orphan growing up so I have never really understood how he knew that Charlie was his sibling. Maybe he did have parents but they disowned him at a very young age. Perhaps.

"What about him?" I asked as I looked at him quizzically. Tautis looked as if he was going to die any second from lack of oxygen so I guided Sam off of his best friend. "He is the head officer..." he said quietly as he continued to stare at the dirt and grass below him. "So?" I asked as Tautis continued to lay on the earthy floor, wheezing for air.

"We got to go before she does anything bad," He said suddenly in a state of panic. Wait, what? I know he is probably talking about Aphmau but I do not see the connection between him knowing that his older sibling is the head officer and Aphmau doing something bad.

"Explain please," Tautis said as he finally got up from the ground. Now his hair was full of dirt and grass. Sucks to be him. "There is no time for that now, we got  to go and quickly!" He said. His eyes said it all. I looked over at Tautis and smiles, "I hope you didn't skip leg day because it looks like we are running, Tautis!"

Aphmau's P.O.V

I was strolling through the streets, don't worry it was the back streets when I had a sudden realization. Why don't I just confront my fears? I mean, if I somehow get caught, escaping prison is simple. Wait. What am I thinking? They won't put me in prison. They would put me in that stupid place again. Well, revenge is a dish best served cold, I guess. Sorry, Sam.

I was only a minute away from mystreet and when I got there, wow. I swear on the holy name of Irene that I had never seen so many police officers, S.W.A.T officers and army reinforcements in my life. At every door were four S.W.A.T officers, the street was lined with police officers, with every person were to army people, the street was blocked off by army vans, there were about ten ambulances and five fire trucks on standby and there were about three helicopters. I guess I'm going out with a bang.

I don't plan on doing anything major, all I want to do is mess with them a bit and try and convince Charlie that I am perfectly sane. It'll be fine.

'Travis, can you hear me?' I asked my white-haired friend in my mind connect. I heard a faint, distant 'yes' I can only really mind connect with Sam but if a person has enough magic in their DNA I can somewhat connect with them. 'Did Carlie only secure this street?' I asked because if he did that will be perfect for me and a bad move on his part. 'I'm not sure, we can't leave the street,' he replied, barely. 'Okay, just saying goodbye because I might not make it,' With that, I cut him off before he could say anything. Let's do this.

I jumped up to the roof of the boy's house. What can I say, I like heights! Anyway, instantly every gun was pointed my way. "Come on guys lets talk about this," I said as I sat down. They probably have an order not to shoot me so they can get Sam. "See, I have two guesses, either half of your guns are empty or half your guns are full," I said as I smiled to myself. That was a good one though. "Miss Aphmau, could we talk about this, as you suggested," I heard a new voice say. "And who might you be?" I asked as I turned my head to see a guy in a suit. "When... If you get caught I will be your counsellor in the facility," He said. Okay then.

This is going to be interesting...

 Very interesting.....
