•Jade's POV•

I woke to the phone officer Saye gave me going off in my pocket. I grabbed the phone out of my pocket, sat up, and answered it, "Hello?"

"Hey, Jade, just waking you up for school. I'll send you the address." He said, I yawned, "Thank you, officer Saye." He laughed, "You can call me Dylan." I smiled, "Ok, Dylan."

"I know the secretary at the school, I got her to make your schedule where you have three out of your six classes with Mason." He said. I sighed, "Alright, thank you, bye."

He said bye and hung up, I hung up after, and walked into the bathroom. My hair was a wreck, I jumped in the shower and washed my hair and body. I blew my hair dry and found a Guns-and-roses shirt, with black skinny jeans to wear. I put my long blond hair into a ponytail, and added some eye liner to my dark blue eyes.

I got my bag and took out the gun I kept in there, it wouldn't be a good idea to have that in my bag at school. I also took out my laptop and put it on my desk, and sat down on the chair, and opened it.

A message from Julia popped up on the screen: 'How's life in the "assassin" zone?' She sent me, I laughed and rolled my eyes, I typed back: 'Haha, bitch.'

I closed my laptop, grabbed my bag and headed down stairs. I walked into the kitchen, apparently they even stocked the cabinets for me. Sadly, they didn't stick the fridge, that means I'll need to do that after school. I grabbed a granola-bat, and my truck keys from the middle island and headed out.

I locked the door behind me, putting the house key in my pocket next the 'work' phone. My real phone I'm just leaving in my bag. I hopped in my truck, took out the phone and read the directions to the school that Dylan sent me.

It took me ten minutes to get to the school, it was two stories, and was, surprisingly, made out of black bricks. I parked the truck in the only free space in the lot. A nice red mustang was park next to me, a couple was standing next to it, the boys arm was wrapped around the girl.

The guy had dirty blond hair, and brown eyes, and was about a head taller than the girl. The girl, had black curly hair, and blue eyes. She reminded me of Julia in a way. I cut the engine, an sat there for a minute, I'm really doing this, I thought. I sighed and pulled my bag over my shoulder and hopped out.

The black headed girl smiled wide when she saw me, "Ohh, a new girl!" The girl walked up to me and held out her hand fore to shake. I was only a few inches taller than her, her outfit included purple skinny jeans and a black one shoulder shirt. I shook her hand kindly. "I'm Amara. And this is my ma- I mean boyfriend, Blake." She said pulling Blake to come shake my hand.

I shook his hand, and introduced myself to them, "I'm Jade." Amara smiled, "Well, Jade, it's a good thing you met us first, we'll show you around."

I smiled, "Thanks, this school is huge compared to my school back home." She laughed and linked arms with me, "Were going to be the best of friends."

We started toward the entrance of the school, everyone was looking at us. Oh god, I thought, I just made friends with the popular kids.

I stopped once we got to the office, "I'll see y'all later, I need to get my schedule." Amara nodded and Blake wrapped his arm around her as they walked away. I walked into the office and the secretary greeted me with a smile, "Hello, never seen you before."

"I'm Jade, officer Dylan Saye talked to you about me?" I said walking to the edge of her desk. Her smiled disappeared, she fake laughed, "Why yes." The sorted through the papers on her desk and handed me one. "Tell him to go screw himself for me."
