•Jade's POV•

I guess you could call my plan crazy, but it's still accurate. When it works, and my dad gets better, we're moving to Miami. I have everything planned out, from this point- to when my my dad and I are in Miami, to the two months this we spend there.

I packed my bag last morning after I showered and put clothes on, I made sure the gun was on safety, and I put a knife in one of my boots, and the other knife in my bag. I put my hair in a ponytail and nodded to myself in the mirror.

Today my plan goes into action, my dads getting better, everythings going to be alright. I walked to the door and opened it. I jumped out of my skin when I saw who was standing there giving me her glare that would make the devil shutter.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her inside closing the door behind us. "What the f*ck are you doing here?" Julia still stood there giving me a look, "I told you this was bad, bad news Jade. I know that look on your face- that's the look that you always give Mrs. Matthew when she gives us homework. I don't think Mason did it."

I didn't say anything, and tried to give her an imitating glare like she gave me. She shook her head, "That's not how you do it... but that's not the point, I have a feeling your going to put an innocent man on his death bed. I'm not even sure this guys a real cop!"

"Julia, you don't understand. My fathers getting worse and worse by the minute. I have to do this." I told her, trying not to make my voice quiver as I say it. She looked down at her shoes, and sighed, "At least let me get a look at him before you do something rash."

I shook my head, but agreed anyway. As we started out, she walked towards her mini copper, I laughed, "Hell no." she turned to me and crossed her arms. I nodded to my truck and she rolled her eyes and got into the passengers seat. I sat my bag down in between us and got in myself. I started off towards the school, Julia grabbed my bag and started looking through it.

I knew she would find my gun before she did, "Nice." she looked at every inch of it, then she releced the mag and touched one of the bullets. I'm suprised I didn't have a freaking wreck when she let out a tiny scream, she let dropped the the mag, and she held her fingers as if someone chopped them off.

I pulled over on the side of the road, "What the hell just happened!?" I grabbed the mag and put it back into the gun and threw it into my bag. I looked at Julia, she looked as if she was about to cry. "Let me see," I said trying to get a look at her fingers.

When I finally managed to get her to let me see, all I saw was a horrible red mark across her fingers. "Yep," she squeaked, "not a cop. F*ck ass silver." I shook my head, "Silver isn't dangerous though. Right?" She let out a pained laugh, "It is for some people. Now get back on the road."

I let out a breath, confused. None of this makes sense, silver isn't toxic or an acid, it shouldn't burn. And I know her pain is real, not fake, because I've never seen Julia cry before, so this must be pretty bad. I frowned thinking of how Dylan wore gloves handing me the bullets, of he knew they hurt him, how did he know they wouldn't hurt me?

I pushed the thought out of my head, not needing to be getting distracted. We finally made it to school and I parked in the spot next to Blake and Amara, I unbuckled and turned to Julia, "What the hell is going on Julia? Silver isn't toxic." She shook her head, "To you it's not. Now, let's go."

She got out of the truck, I let out an irritated sigh, and got out too. We walked next to each other into the school, "Don't you need a schedule or something?" I whispered. She smiled, pulling a piece of paper from her bag, "The schools pass word was 'Teacherofthemonth.' It wasn't really hard to set me up in the system, so now, all the teachers will have me on their attendance sheet."
