Chap. 7:

I slowed into a walk once the back of her house came into view. I smiled when I saw her balcony door was open, and sat next to a big tree hidden from her if she looked out.
I sat, and waited for her to say something, I could hear movement. A few seconds later I heard her say, "When did my life get this complicated?" I frowned, she must mean the part where she has to kill me. It makes my wolf sad thinking about that, but then it makes him mad that Dylan would send someone after me. "AND WHY IS HE SO HOT?"

I smiled, so she does some what like me. I love the feeling of knowing that she feels something for me, especially with the situation we're in. I saw her walk out onto the balcony, she walked to the end and stood looking out into the forest. She looked deep in thought when she started crying.

Falling onto her knees and holding her face, she cried. The sight of her crying made me want to run up and hold her till she smiled her adorable smile. We both jumped when a knock on her door sounded. She wiped her face, trying to make all the signs of her crying to disappear, and headed back inside.

•Jade's POV•

I felt like a little baby, crying here. I hate crying it shows how weak you can be, and it makes you vulnerable. I knock on the front door kicked me out of my thoughts.

I wiped my face with my hands and sat up with help from the railing, and started inside, and then down the stairs. I made sure all the tears were off my face, and I looked somewhat decent. I opened the door to a very drunk looking Eric.

"Eric?" I asked, he was leaning against the door frame, his eyes watery, and tried, not a lot sleep I'm guessing. "Jadeeee." He groaned. I sighed and shook my head, "Come on." I wrapped his arm over my shoulder and dragged him in.

I struggled under his weight, but finally got him on the couch. "How much did you drink, you wreak of alcohol. And how do you know where I live?"

"She left me..." He mumbled, "my mate left me." I frowned and sat down next to him, "I'm sorry...?"

He shook his head, "You remind me of her.." I gulped, and laid my hand on his shoulder to try and relax him, but his skin was like hundred and something degrees. "Jeez, your burning hot! Here, I'm going to go get an ice pack." I stood up and started walking to the kitchen, but I was pulled back down on the couch by the wrist.

I ended up with my back on the couch, with Eric on top of me, "You look so much like her too." He whispered, slurring his words. I started breathing heavily with fear, I also realized I was in my thin pajamas, "Eric, please, get off me."

He pushed a strand of hair out of my face, "Your so beautiful, Cathy.." I shook my head, "Eric I-" he broke of my sentence with his lips on mine, I leaned back into the couch away from him, but he went with me. His kiss was like toxic, not right, forced... The disgusting taste of alcohol filled my mouth. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get out from under his body, if only he wasn't so strong.

I don't know what happened, I guess I got so mad.. Or I just had a sudden burst of strength, but I managed to get him off me. I made a small hole and I took the opportunity, I slipped out from under him and ran for the stairs.

I was breathing heavily, trying not to lose myself, and start going crazy. I grabbed the rail and swinger around and ran up them, I looked down and saw Eric running after me. I thought Eric was my friend, why would he do this? I wouldn't of believed it if it didn't happen in front of me then as he ran, everything turned into slow motion. First he was running, then he was ripping out of his clothes, and into a wolf.
