•Mason's POV•After school, I felt a thin as a feather. I always heard about how it felt to meet and spend time with your mate, but I never knew it was this amazing. After school she left faster than I thought, my first reaction was to go after her and take her with me, but I decided against it.
Because she's human I wanted to make sure she loves me as much as I love her with out knowing about the mate part. I watched her get in her truck and drive off, I saw Stefan on the other side of the parking lot watching her go as well.
My throat burned trying to sustain a growl, I made my way over to him. "I don't like your interest in Jade." I said, straight up once I got to him. Stefan laughed, "Alpha, nothing's going on, I'm just her friend."
I could feel my wolf scratching to let me set him loose, "Well you may need to thin that friendship a bit." I could tell by his gulping reaction that I used my alpha tone on him.
He slightly bowed his head, "Yes, Alpha."
He walked away, I sighed, every one needs to know that she's mine. I made the announcements at lunch to my pack, but the word still hasn't gotten around to the ones at school. Amara, Stefan, and a few other people know because I keep them in my main circle.
Elena, however, is going to have to learn some respect. She thinks that because her big brother is alpha she can do what ever she wants, but today when she knocked Jades books down, I became murderous, and walked as fast as I could to stop her in her tracks of doing that. Jade put up a pretty good fight though, but she wouldn't have won.
I jumped in to the black Jaguar I inherited from my dad, and started toward the pack house. I smiled thinking about Jade, her laugh, he smile, everything about her screamed beautiful. It makes me want to explode every time I see her, to grab her close to me and kiss her. Mark her, and Mate her.
I pulled into the pack house, my real house, the one I really live in, is a couple miles, about three, from here. So most of the time I park here, shift and run to my house. I hopped out of the car and went inside, other pack members didn't greet me with the usual bow of the head and, "Nice to see you, Alpha."
Instead, they greeted me with, "Congratulations, Alpha." Or, "Very happy for you, Alpha." It was strange to feel the sudden change of mood when I walk in. Sure, it's always like that, but now that they know I've found my mate they seem cheery, and exited to meet her.
"Mason," my father called, gesturing me his way, "please." I followed him into his office.
"Son, I am more that exited that you found your mate. But she's human." He said, sitting on the edge of his desk. I rolled my eyes, "Dad, I don't care that she's human. I love her." He nodded his head, "I understand the power of the mate bond, but if she does become Luna, would she even be able to handle it?"
"She is more than capable to handle it." I stated angrily. I stood up ready to walk out, but he called me back, "Son, I'm thinking about the pack."
"Yeah. Always for the pack." I stated sarcastically.

•Jade's POV•Once school was out I hauled ass out. For one reason only: Mason. I know he likes to talk to me, and I don't know what to say. I mean what are you suppose to say to someone that your hunting? Plus, I need to talk to Julia, I might need her help. Julia's kind of a computer nerd. Name any website, she can break the firewall and get into the websites settings.
I'm needing her to break into the police station internet here, and ask her if anything with the name Saye shows up. To see if it's a known fact that this guy really killed someone in Dylan's family, I'm not going to hurt somebody if it's just a hunch.
