Chapter 13

Aurora's POV

"I've decided to spend the day with you to make up for yesterday and the day before that" I tell Blake as we walk into Dunkin Donuts.

"Okay.. so where were you yesterday anyways?" He asks me.

"I.. was busy, very busy" I tell him not wanting to mention that I was with Delilah because I know that he would make a big deal out of it, and there's nothing to make a big deal out of.

"Okay.." he trails probably not believing me, but before he could say anything else... The girl in front of us turned around and I instantly recognized her.... As my ex girlfriend, Lacy.

"Aurora, is that you?" She asks me with wide eyes and that smile that I've always loved... But that was in the past, and I've already come to terms with that.

"So what do you want to order?" I ask Blake completely ignoring Lacy.

"I don't maybe a caramel macchiato and a couple donuts. Uh who is that girl?" He asks me, obviously referring​ to Lacy.

"I don't know, no one important" I lied. I'll probably eventually tell him, I just don't feel like talking about it now. "Anyways it's our turn to order" I tell him changing the subject. I also noticed that I no longer see Lacy so I'm guessing she must have left. At least she could take a hint.

We ended up ordering two strawberry iced donuts, one with sprinkles and one without, a jelly filled donut and a chocolate donut. Blake got his caramel macchiato and I got a caramel iced coffee swirl or whatever it's called.

"So are you ever gonna tell me what that whole thing was about, you know what happened just a few minutes ago?" He asked me as we exited.

"Eh, maybe later, but don't worry about it, just know that today I'm all yours" I said kissing his cheek as I put my arm around his neck.

"Mhm, you best" he tells me as he wraps his arm around my neck and I lay my head on his shoulder.

"Aurora, can we please talk?" I hear Lacy asks from behind us, causing me to sigh in frustration. What did she even want?

"Blake can you go to the car please, this will only take a few minutes, I promise" I say deciding that I should at least just see what she wants.

"Okay but if you need me, you know where I'll be" he says as he turns around and leaves.

"Okay,  what the hell do you want Lacy?" I ask her, trying my best to keep a poker face.

"Well it's nice seeing you again too" she laughed. "At least I know that you remember me" she says.

"Yeah well, how could I forget you? My beloved ex who didn't even want to give us a shot a long distance relationship. But I guess I can think Tara for that, or was it Tiffany?" I ask blatantly.

"Okay I'm sorry about that, but long distance relationships don't work.." she started to say but I cut her off.

"That doesn't give you the right to cheat on me, but it doesn't matter anymore because I don't need you anymore" I tell her.

"So you're into guys now then?" She asks me obviously referring to what she thought was Blake and I acting like a couple, which is understandable because apparently society thinks that best friends can't show each other affection.

"Not that it's any of your business but Blake is just a friend. One bad ending to a relationship is not gonna turn me straight. You didn't hurt me that much, you're not that special" I snap and she just rolls her eyes.

"So you're not seeing anyone new then?" She asks me clearly not seeing that I'm not interested in talking to her.

"Have I not made myself clear, fuck off" I tell her.

"Oh come on Rory..." She started but I cut her off.

"Don't call me that" I tell her.

"I miss you, we should catch up" she tells me and I just roll my eyes.

"I'm busy" I scoffed.

"Well when you aren't, you should call me, you still have my number right?" She asks me. She's acting like everything is fine and nothing happened.

"Yeah" I sighed in defeat, having to admit the truth. "Anyways I gotta go" I tell her as I turn around and leave.

SOOOOO, I'm back you guys, and I'm so sorry for not updating but there will be more updates soon, I promise. Anyways I'm gonna edit a few chapters and then I'll update again. Sorry this was so short, love you guys, byeee!!!!
