___________________________Aurora's POV
"Well I'll see you around Delilah" I said when I pulled away from the kiss. "Right now I have something to do" I say as I start walking away before she had the chance to say anything.
I went back to the lunch outside to find Blake.
"Listen, I appreciate you trying to look out for me and all, but I don't need your help. I mean it's not like we're friends, we just met" I tell him.
"You're right, I'm sorry" he says. "You just.. Nevermind it's stupid" he says making me curious.
"No just tell me" I say.
"You just.. you kind of remind me of some one and I know it's stupid and we just met but you're the only person that I can kind of tolerate that I've met in a while, so I guess I felt the need to look out for you. Anyways I'm sorry, the next time you get into a fight, I won't do anything." He tells me.
"Who do I remind you of?" I ask him.
"My friend Isabella, she was really sassy just like you and she was gorgeous, she even had green eyes just like you. And... now she's... dead" he says looking like he's trying not to cry.
"Oh.. I don't really know what to say to that" I tell him honestly.
"Yeah it's fine, you don't have to say anything, after she died, a bunch of people kept telling me 'I'm sorry for your loss' or 'she's in a better place now' or 'she would want you to be happy' but it's all bull shit. None of that is true most of them didn't even know her and some of them that did, didn't even like her. Honestly she didn't have many friends, but then again neither did I but I had her" he tells me looking down and just before I say something he cuts me off. "But thank you for not doing the pity voice with me" he says.
"You're welcome I guess. Listen I'm sorry for yelling at you, you didn't deserve that, I guess I'm just not used to having people looking out for me" I tell him honestly.
"It's fine" he says still looking down. Ugh I can't believe I'm saying this but.. he look like he needs a hug. Ugh, I hate my stupid conscience, I thought as I wrapped my arms around him. He was shocked at first but then he hugged me back.
I don't know how long we were there for but it was a warm and comforting hug, which I'm not really used to, so I pulled away.
"Thank you, I guess I kinda needed that" he says when we pull away.
"Yeah yeah, I know. I'm surprised you're not worried about your bad boy, loner reputation" I tease.
"I don't really care about that stuff. Contrary to popular belief, some people in this town aren't so stereotypical and cliche" he tells me.
"You're right, I'm sorry, I'm judgy" I say making him chuckle. "So anyways, you're friend, Al.." I started to say but he cut me off because he could see that I clearly didn't remember his name
"Alex" he says.
"Yeah that guy, I thought his name was Alec but that's close enough. Anyways he said that you guys were throwing a party tonight" I say.
"Oh yeah, he is always having parties and when he's not hosting parties then he's going to them but has nothing better to do, he graduated high school last year and he's not going to college" Blake informs me.
"Cool, so what time should I show up?" I ask him.
"Uh I don't know, I can just pick you up at 7:30" he tells me.
"Okay cool" I say in response.
