Chapter 30

Aurora's POV

So we ended up going to the Spring festival and Delilah and I got to spend some more time together which was nice.

However, I do kind of regret telling Brooke about me and Delilah because every time we hug or something like that she keeps smirking at me which I personally don't mind because I find it kinda funny and it's also probably something I would do. But Delilah doesn't know that she knows that we're together so she finds it weird.

I think I should just tell her before she finds out anyway and then gets mad at me.

"So..." I trailed off while Brooke and Lena walked ahead of us. "I kinda told Brooke about us" I told her, I figured it's best to just rip the bandaid off rather than beat around the bush.

She was silent for a little while and it made me pretty anxious .

"What did she say?" She asked which put me a little more at ease.

"She's kinda upset that you didn't tell her" I said.

"Yeah I should've, damn it, now I feel bad, we've been best friends for years, I should've told her" she sighs.

"No don't feel bad, it's my fault, I shouldn't have told her, I should've waited for you to" I tell her.

"No it's fine, I guess I should at least tell Lena before she finds out from Brooke" she says.

"You sure?" I asked her.

"Yeah" she assures me with a smile.

"Okay" I say smiling back at her as put my arm around her and she rests her head on my shoulder as we walk up to catch up to Brooke and Lena.

"Hey guys" Delilah calls and Brooke and Lena look back.

"What?" Lena asks.

"So, I just figured that it's time I officially tell you that..." before she can finish Lena cuts her off.

"You and Aurora are dating" she says and Delilah looks shook as fuck. "Yeah Brooke kinda already told me" she says making me glare at Brooke and she mouths a 'sorry' to me.

"Well yeah that's what I was gonna say but you already know" she says glaring at Brooke.

"I'm sorry, I'm really bad at secrets, especially when it comes to my best friends that I've known for years" she said clearly trying to throw shade at Delilah and I feel kinda bad for laughing at that meanwhile Delilah was rolling her eyes.

"Okay point taken, I'm sorry you guys" Delilah says.

"You're forgiven, right Lena" Brooke says looking at Lena.

"Yeah, you know we can't stay mad at you" she sighs in defeat making Delilah smile.

"Okay well you two can do whatever, Lena and I are get some cotton candy and then go play festival games, mainly because I really wanna win some giant stuffed animals" Brooke tells us.

"I'll win you some" Lena says looking at Brooke making her smile.

"Yay, let's go" Brooke says taking Lena's hand and running off making me and Delilah giggle.

"So that went well" I said.

"Yeah" Delilah said smiling.

"What do you wanna do now?" I asked.

"Well, there's a Ferris wheel here, do you wanna go on it?" She asks me.

"Yeah sounds good" I say as we walk towards it.

"What?" I ask Delilah when we finally get on the ferries wheel because she keeps staring at me and smiling, not that I mind.

"Nothing I'm just really happy" she says still smiling.

"To be on a Ferris wheel?" I ask making her giggle.

"Well with you, I'm just really happy that we're finally together" she says making me smile.

"Me too" I say taking her hand in mine as the ride starts.

I swear I've never felt this way before about anyone.

I mean, I always thought that what I had with my ex girlfriend was like true love, until she cheated on me anyway, but I'm kinda glad she did, because if she didn't, I wouldn't know this feeling right now, being the happiest I've ever been with the most amazing girl in the world.

This girl that lights up my world and makes me smile uncontrollably and gives me butterflies in my stomach just being with her like right now.

This is true love.

"Hey Delilah" I say.

"Yeah" she replied back.

"Have I ever told you I love you?" I ask.

"Only a couple times, but who's counting" she says.

"Well I love you, so much" I tell her and she smiles.

"I love you too, a lot" she says making me smile as cup her cheek in my hand and kiss her.

Awwwww, what a sweet chapter. Okay so this book only has two more chapters left and I'm so excited, hopefully I can finish this soon and start working on the sequels. The next chapter may or may not be in some one else's POV, maybe Brooke (it's definitely Brooke) anyways I know this chapter was kinda short but I couldn't really think of anything else to put in this chapter especially considering this is nearing the end of the book.
