ADRIANA'S PERSPECTIVE
This is so weird, I'm calling up to bird girl for her to shift while she's falling 'cause obviously in her shifted form she would be able to fly. This is just a theory but I think she might be able to fly in her human shift with the wings on her back. But I decided not to tell her this because they probably wouldn't be able to carry her weight while she was falling 100 mph. But when she does it she flies so naturally so sure of herself like she grew up doing this. But when I was telling her to shift earlier and even now she gave me puzzled looks. Like she had no idea what I was talking about. I literally had to spell it out for her when I told her to pretend she was a bird. Now she was perched on my shoulder looking exhausted. I looked around the vast expanse of forest as she glided off my shoulder and landed gracefully on the ground. She looked just as puzzled as I did. And she confirmed that when she said,
"How do I become a human again?" She got even more confused when i said this " you were never a human. You're a hybrid." So I didn't reck this poor girl's life anymore than I had to I then explained that a hybrid is a cross between human and animal DNA. She then asked the question
"How do I... look like a human again?"
"It's called shifting, and just picture yourself as a human. It's easy once you get used to it." After a few tries of concentrating hard she finally does it, her shape enlarges her feathers molt leaving a small pile of them in the ground and her beak melts into a nose. Now I can get a better look of her. She has dirty blond hair that reaches halfway to her elbows, except the blue streak in her hair changed. It's now a red streak. And her wings are a different color too. Did the type of bird she was change every time she shifted? That was cool. She had hazel eyes and a cute smile. If I were a guy I would totally go out with her. That made me think of my boyfriend, left behind in the scientist lab. I shook my bed to rid myself of those thoughts. That's when I heard a shot fire and bird girl yell run.
