The demon quickly got a hold of himself, as he was starring at the short boy for a while now.
"Are you Ciel Phantomhive?" Sebastian asked, hiding his sudden despair. The bluenette nods his head, smirking. "That's right. And you're Mr. Michaelis, the English teacher, correct?"
"Precisely. Now, you can sit in the very last desk over there" the teacher replied fast, showing with his finger the only desk anaivable, in the third line. Ciel smiled, before spelling a "Yes sir", then he went to his seat.
The other students started to talk to him, or between them and the demon could hear some girls to the other side of were Ciel was, talking with bitter words, about his appearance. It was clear jealousy.
Sebastian cleared his throat, getting the attention of the class. "Now, everyone. Let's set the small talk aside for now, and open your book in page 145, in the last exercise I assigned to you two days ago..."
This hour went way too slow- for Sebastian, that is. Every now and then, you could see him starring for a second to the new boy, trying to figure out how he is alive. There are some possibilities, like reincarnation. From time to time, the demon had seen some humans to exist for a second time on the earth; With the exact same looks, but of course with different names and home. But Ciel was another thing. Aside from the fact that he is exactly the same -with bicolored eyes even- the boy was from the same country and for Pete's sake, he had the same name. His father also, owns the Funtom company and his soul, has almost the exact fragrance. So many coincidences, that it's unbelievable. But no. Ciel was alive and right before his eyes.
The only thing that's different now, is that he doesn't have the contract symbol in his purple eye and doesn't seem to remember the demon. Sebastian had yet to find that out.
When the bell finally rang, signaling the end of the day, all the students packed their stuff, and technically ran outside of the class. But before Ciel leaves, Sebastian stopped him.
"I want to talk to you for a moment, young- Phantomhive" Sebastian almost spelled "young master". He couldn't call him by that name. They're not in the Victorian era and besides, he has to find out what's going on.
Ciel nodded, leaving his backpack down and walks toward his teacher. "Is there something wrong, Mr. Michaelis?" his expression was one of the confused ones, and didn't seem like he's hiding something- or that he knows the demon.
Sebastian stands up from his chair and supports his lower half on his desk from the front, looking suspicious. "I want to ask you a typical question; Do you have any difficulty in any of the school subjects? Or, If you have medium to low grades, as a tradition, the school provides one teacher to tutor the new student, in case he has some learning gaps" his words wasn't a lie, however, the demon wanted to grab the chance before anyone else does. If he wanted information, Sebastian had to come as close to him as he can.
"Now that you mention it," Ciel wondered for a second, looking at the floor, "My first lesson was History, and unfortunately, I'm 5 lessons behind, because in my previous school, there was an accident and it was closed for about two weeks. Probably it still is, because I transferred, before it started" Sebastian nodded at his words as he was thinking, if he had heard about an accident in a school. He fixed his glasses, before answering, a smile on his lips:
"Very well then. If you don't have any problem, I can help you improve, so your grades won't fall" Sebastian suggested and the bluenette looked at him in the eyes for a moment. The teacher could tell, that he's weighing his chances and if he can trust him, or not.
Sebastian tried really hard not to smirk. Ciel acted a lot like his old self. The only difference in his attitude, was that he wasn't acting like a brat. Ciel Phantomhive from the Victorian era, seemed like he wanted to kill everyone, honestly.
