day thirteen: saturday.
reason thirteen: your humour.

dark and gloomy. the only two words to describe dan's bedroom. the only two words to describe the way dan used to be. however, upon meeting elodie the way he perceived the world changed simply because someone taught him how to be happy. she was very unaware of what she had done but truth be told, he'd rather not let her know he was in the edge of depression. he was happy now and that was all that mattered.

seeing from a new perspective was refreshing. dan no longer had to cower in fear that he's feel the same for the rest of his life. like he was nothing.

"see for yourself, they're definitely not as bad as we thought they would be." when dan tuned back into what elodie was sting he nodded his head in approval. the cookies were slightly burnt but it wasn't anything too bad.

he lifted a chocolate chip one to elodie's mouth gesturing for her to take a bite. "mmm." she closed her eyes resting her dark lashe's on her cheeks to emphasise her delight. "these. are. so. good."

"really?" dan was surprised the tasted nice since they'd left them in the oven for longer than they should have been in for. "i thought they'd be hard amd crispy."

"nope. they're so soft on the inside." elodie and dan left the cookies on the worktop so they could cool.

dan opened spotify, pressed the play button on shuffle and offered his hand to elodie as a smile grew on his lips. hesitantly, she took it furrowing her eyebrows. "i'm I
i'm not really a good dancer." she says through laughs.

"neither am i." he rests his hands on her hips and she placed her's around his neck.

they wer only dancing for a few seconds before elodie stepped on one of dan's feet. she apologised she they both laughed it off. although not too long later, she did it again and again. "look shouldn't we stop i've stood on your feet like seven times."

"no it's fun." dan couldn't stop laughing at how adorable she was being. they tried to dance again but all attempts came to a halt when she stood on his feet again. elodie pulled away from dan giggling. just as she did so, golden days by panic! at the disco came on shuffle. with out any hesitation, they bi th burst out into a fit of laughter, both dancing like maniacs and singing the words at the top of their lungs. "i like that you don't  care. you let lose and it's refreshing to see someone who could just dance the night away." elodie felt a deep blush come over her. "reason thirteen, your humour. you can laugh at yourself without having a care in the world. you are beautiful."
