Draco Malfoy Imagines

Lies pt 2

Draco Malfoy kneeled over the toilet in one of the bathroom stalls, vomiting uncontrollably. After a long time, the blonde boy shakily moved back and slumped against the stall door. The pain in his head throbbed, a vision of a Death-Eater ritual flashed in his mind, and he hurled once again into the toilet.

*Dining Hall*

Hermione Granger kept her eyes peeled for the tall blonde boy from Slytherin. She had gotten to know Draco Malfoy rather well over the last few weeks, and she reckoned that he was not so bad after all. She wouldn't admit it to herself, but she adored the way he laughed at her awful jokes, the face he made while figuring out a difficult homework problem, and the way her name floated off his voice. She finally saw him walk through the doors.

Draco Malfoy looked terrible. His blond hair was bedraggled and messy. Large purple circles lay underneath his eyes. He looked exhausted and worn. His eyes found Hermione's. She tilted her head and gave him a questioning look and he started over towards her. He sat down across from her nonchalantly. He began to eat.

"What's wrong?"

Hermione asked.
Draco looked up,

"Nothing's wrong, I was a little late getting u-"

"You look awful."
She interrupted.

Draco paused and looked down. He tapped his fingers on the table restlessly and coughed.
Hermione questioned him with her eyes once again.

Draco rolled his and finally spoke.

"Look, I'v just been having some trouble sleeping that's all."

"Why can't you sleep?"

-
"Just some stupid nightmares that kind of stuff."

-
"What are your nightmares about?"

Draco was silent. He felt his heart speed up as he avoided Hermione's eyes.

"Just nothing."
He replied.

Hermione raised an eyebrow as a hundred thoughts passed through her mind. She knew that he was lying, but she didn't know enough to push him just yet.
So she shrugged and continued eating her food.
She wouldn't let Draco know it, but she was bent on finding out what exactly was troubling him.
