I watched in the mirror as Norman buttoned up his vest. His eyes made contact with mine but I quickly looked away.

"Everything's gonna be alright." I rolled my eyes at his statement.

"You don't know that. You can't just know what's going to happen and what's not going to happen." He fixed his hair and walked over to where I was sitting. "Why do you keep telling me it's going to be okay?"

"Darlin', I'm just trying to make this better for the both of us. I don't know that everything's gonna be alright, but I can believe it." I stare blankly at the floor. I didn't know what to say. In an hour, all of America was going to know about our relationship, and I didn't know if I was ready or not. "I love you, and I'm going to do everything I can to be with you. People can think whatever the hell they want to, but you can't help who you fall in love with."

"Fine." I took a deep breath, readying myself for the events that were soon to take place. "And I love you too." He kissed my forehead and stood up. I wouldn't say all of America, but a lot of people don't know. They think they know, but nothing has ever been confirmed until now. Everyone at the office knows, they don't have a problem with it. Mingus is happy for us. For me. He just wants us to be happy.

"I'm gonna head backstage for makeup, you can watch the show on the t.v. monitor if you'd like." I nodded my head, letting him know I had heard him.

A loud bell was rung and I turned on the t.v. seeing the handsome Conan. The crowd was cheering loudly, he raised his hands for them to quiet down.

"How is everyone tonight? I see a lot of lovely people in the audience!" He smiled and everyone clapped. "We have a very special guest tonight and I am more than happy to announce his presence. Please welcome, the amazing, Mr. Norman Reedus!" Norman ran on stage, waving and nodding at the audience. He's so handsome. This whole fame thing came naturally to him.

"I'm so happy to be here, thank you for having me." He stated with a warm smile.

Forty-five minutes into the show, lots of laughs, talk about the show, but still not a thing about Norman and I, and I was starting to get a little worried. The butterflies in my stomach began to erupt.

"Norman, all good things must come to an end, but one more question before you leave?" Norman nodded and Conan asked the question I had been dreading all night. "Are you single?" Norman bit his lips, and his eyebrows came together, showing that he was in deep thought.

"No, actually. I'm not." Conan shuffled in his seat and Norman did the same.

"Well, please, tell us about her?"

"Man, I don't think I know where to start," He laughed. "Well she's absolutely gorgeous, she likes to have fun and get crazy, she loves to exercise, which is one of the many things I love about her, considering I like to exercise and stay fit as well, She's funny, loving, hardworking, and mostly a handful. She's one of those people that'll leave you hangin'. Suspenseful, I should say. You never know what's coming next."

"She sound's so amazing. Can we know her name?"

"Genevieve Monroe." Conan's eyes got wide and his mouth became agape.

"Mr. Reedus likes them younger girls, I suspect? I mean, really, how old is she? Seventeen, eighteen?" Norman clenched his fists.

"She's nineteen, actually."

"Well you know what, I'm happy for you and I hope you two are happy. Send her my love, will you?" Conan gave a warming smile and said his goodbye's to the audience as him and Norman exited the stage together.

I sat quietly by myself as I waited for Norman to enter the room. I heard people talking and walking back and forth from different directions. My heart was beating as if I were running a marathon. The sounds that I was hearing got louder and louder. My breathing got heavy and I began to sweat. The door suddenly opened, taking me away from my thought. Norman's face was bright red and his breathing was heavy.

"I think we may have a problem."
