Sakura and Sasuke arrived at their hideout to find it was still empty. After a few minutes Naruto walked in supporting an exhausted Gaara under his arm. Behind him were Gaara's siblings. Kankuro, a puppet master in training under the famed Sasori of the Red Sand, and Temari, the oldest of the siblings and the wielder of the giant folding fan. Both seemed to be on edge. Sasuke nodded to Naruto before taking a seat on a nearby chair. Naruto helped Gaara to Sakura while she healed him.

Because they realized how great Sakura's chakra control was they found someone to help teach her medical ninjutsu. Her sensei who taught her a short while was Tsunade Senju. Naruto had beaten Tsunade in a bet over his abilities. She had greatly underestimated him and lost, therefore teaching Sakura basic and some advanced medical ninjutsu. Even though that was all she was supposed to do she helped Sakura perfect her fighting style.

"So, you all decided to join." Sasuke stated and looked at the siblings.

"Yes, but what is that we are joining?" Temari asked, taking lead.

"The Akatsuki." Naruto said and then turned to Sasuke. "Go get them some cloaks." Sasuke stood and went to get the cloaks. When he returned he gave them their signature black with red clouds.

"Why red clouds?" Kankuro asked as he examined his new cloak.

"It symbolizes the clouds of pain that rains the tears of blood from those whom been victimized by the hate of this world. The Akatsuki exists to rid the world of the hate and pain, when we finish our mission we can take off such clouds and live in peace." Naruto explained calmly. Kankuro nodded and looked back at his sister to see if she understood, she did and so did Gaara.

"How many are there who've joined the Akatsuki?" Temari asked.

"Just us here, we plan to recruit more." Naruto replied. They all nodded. When Sakura finished healing Gaara Naruto and Temari made some food, Ramen. They ate in silence and when that was over with they slept. The next morning they had to leave. It wasn't safe to stay in the hideout for too long, so next stop would be the headquarters of Akatsuki.

The headquarters for the organization was hidden deep in the uncharted forest of the Land of Fire. When the place was first established they had problems with other creatures but Naruto had stopped them. Naruto was able to communicate with these large creatures and made an alliance. This alliance was for the Akatsuki to watch over the creatures and kill any ninja who meant them or their forest harm while they were to report if they saw anyone there. This system was perfect and worked well. When the Sand Siblings came they met with the creatures of the forest to learn of their presence and how they would help them. No one disagreed with the already set arrangements.

It was here in this uncharted forest that they had become a lot stronger than before. Naruto and Kurama taught Gaara to made a bond with Shukaku. It was hard at first since the two beasts hated each other. Most secessions the two couldn't be together or else it would result in large fights or loss of chakra to one of the jinchuuriki. Eventually after a year of training with the beast Gaara learned a lot more control over himself and Shukaku's power. The following year for Gaara was isolated training, similar to what Naruto had done but one a slower track. In time the Sand Siblings learned to trust their brother and to no longer fear him.

Kankuro and Temari trained as well. Temari had done plenty of spars with the three and perfected her long style range as well as learning some one-on-one combat. She didn't get rid of her fan but she did do some upgrades to make it more effective than before. She made it more sturdy and larger to give it more of a range and a powerful hit. With this it gave her 5 stars and powerful wind effects. Eventually in the time of 2 years she had easily become the best Wind Release user in the shinobi world.

Kankuro had done most of his training with the greatest puppet master in Suna but once he left it was harder to push himself to the limits. He had remembered watching Sasori from practices and other fights so he could make a similar attacks but not as effective. With realizing that he could never do an exact copy of Sasori's attacks from Sasuke he set out to make his own attacks as well as new puppets. Remembering how human like Sasori's puppets were he set out to recreate that but with real people. He started with plain shinobi and failed until he eventually created a perfect human puppet from a shinobi from Suna. He wasn't anything special just an average ninja but Kankuro's real mission was to take down Sasori and turn him into a puppet then he would be unstoppable. The three were added to the newest prints of bingo books and wanted posters as S Rank missing nin.

The Fourth Kazekage stood in his office, in front of him was Sasori and Chiyo. They were silent, it was news from Konoha that told them their assassination mission was a success yet they had a rather big failure. Gaara was not dead. Another note to add was that his siblings were gone too. The Kazekage was deeply disappointed in his children. Sasori felt the same for his student as well. Chiyo sighed and found a chair to sit in, a difficult day for the Sand it was. Sasori read over the report again.

"They said it could have been the Akatsuki. It didn't seem to be a threat." Sasori said.

"Well if it wasn't a threat then it is now." He said bluntly. He sighed, Gaara was supposed to be dead but now he was alive. The Akatsuki must have heard of their plans, there was no other way that they played the attack so easy without fail. What if the Akatsuki decided to tell them the truth of why they were to take the exams, the Kazekage shivered, that would mean Suna could be in possible danger. Having an organization with two jinchuuriki, an Uchiha, a puppet master, and two strong kunoichi was not a good thing for the fate of a village that rested on lies.
