Things Change [Naruto AU]

A girl with bubblegum pink hair laid on her bed staring at the dark ceiling. She felt like something was off and she just couldn't sleep. Laying there she just kept thinking of nothing in particular. She was startled from her thoughts when there was a knock at her glass door that led to her own balcony. Getting out of bed she walked towards the door in her sleepwear and opened it.

"Naruto? What are you doing out here so late?" She asked the young ninja that stood right outside the door in his usual attire.

"Sakura, I have a plan but you have to let me in to tell you." She nodded and let him inside. "Are your parents home?" She nodded. His voice then changed to a whisper.

"Do you want to learn more about the village?" He said. Staring at Sakura, she realized he was serious.

"Like what?" She asked in a whisper as well. It was actually somewhat interesting to her.

"In specifics, the nine tailed fox attack or even your clan." He replied. Sakura was taking this into consideration, she was really little when it happened yet no one talked about it. They even lost a Hokage to the beast but that was all that was said. And info on her clan, she knew that people had secrets but what would her's be.

"Well... maybe but how? It's super difficult to get into the villages records. Not to mention a major crime. And why?" She asked. This was true. Doing such a thing meant disloyalty and they could be imprisoned or banished.

"I can definitely get us in and with help from the Sharingan it will definitely be easier to hide our tracks." He said. She knew he was talking about Sasuke. Would he be interested in this as well? This wasn't just a prank, it was a crime. Something definitely had to provoke him to do such a thing.

"Maybe, but only if Sasuke goes. I don't want you going off and doing this alone either." She warned and shoved him out. "I have to get dressed." When she appeared in normal clothes, the two made their way to the Uchiha part of the village.

Sasuke was walking home from training later than usual. It was night and surely everyone was asleep. While he walked he noticed two familiar chakras following him. He silently prepared for confrontation. When he met with the two ninja he was slightly annoyed. Sakura and Naruto stood in front of him on the street with a proposition.

"Sasuke, come with us to search the records of the village." Naruto said. Sasuke was unsure, could the dobe really pull something like that off. "You can learn about you're clan and probably more about the Sharingan." The orange ninja said again.

"Hn, alright." He said and followed Naruto as he ran into the shadows and making their way to the Hokage's office. Getting in was easy. Sakura tied and hid the guards while Sasuke put them under a genjutsu and Naruto distracted the others with shadow clones as well as having them do a look out. Now the three nin stood in front of the door covered in seals. Opening the door wouldn't be easy and after opening it there would be no going back. Going along with this new plan would changed everything and they knew it. So, against better judgement, they entered anyway.
