Things Change [Naruto AU]

They had walked for a while with no real place in mind. They didn't have much food or any thing to set up shelter.

"Where do we go, Naruto?" Sakura asked quietly.

"I heard of a village that doesn't trust the leaf, we can go there only for refuge until we sort some things out." The boy said.

"Where would that be?" Sasuke asked. He was beginning to get curious as well.

"It's the Village Hidden in the Rain." He said. "It's kinda far so we're gonna have to stop at a few smaller villages to get supplies." The others nodded. They were all rogue shinobi now. Sakura slipped off her headband and put it away, Sasuke and Naruto did the same unsure of what to do with the objects at the moment.

The Third Hokage sat in his office, beside him was Kakashi Hatake. Other ninjas were there in front of him including Asuma, Kureni, Iruka, and Guy. They had grave looks as they received the message from Kakashi and the Hokage. The students in Team 7 had left the village. It was bad news because one was a jinchuuriki while the other was an Uchiha. They had stolen important scrolls as well.

"So, how are we going to tell the others?" Iruka asked, by this he meant the other Konoha 11. They wouldn't take it lightly that their friends were now their enemies.

"We don't. Just tell them to keep an eye out. They must not know why they left." Kakashi said. The Hokage sighed but it was true. He nodded and excused all of them to leave except for Kakashi. A little bit later more entered the room. This time it was Itachi, Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha. Then Mebuki and Kizashi Haruno. Finally Danzo, Homura, and Koharu. Everyone was a bit on edge.

"So the Jinchuuriki is gone." Danzo stated. He seemed annoyed that something like this happened. The Hokage nodded his head.

"Sasuke left with him, didn't he." Itachi said in a quite voice.

"Yes." The Hokage replied back.

"Sakura went with them too, right?" Kizashi asked. The Hokage nodded again. This wasn't something that was easy to do.

"And you just let them leave!" Mebuki shouted. She was angry with the man in front her.

"I have to agree with her," Fugaku said, he was angry but didn't have an outburst as Mebuki. "Kakashi, you watched them leave?" The copy ninja nodded his head. Mebuki was about to yell again when her husband put his hand on her shoulder.

"What scrolls did they take?" Kizashi asked. They had been informed that scrolls were missing and the place holding them was broken into.

The Hokage grabbed a paper and started to list off the scrolls stolen, "They took the scrolls about the Haruno Clan, the Uchiha Clan, the Fourth Hokage, the Nine Tails Attack, and the Mangekyou Sharingan." Kizashi sighed while Mebuki shook her head furious. Itachi glanced outside the window thinking, while Fugaku closed his eyes and furrowed his brow. Mikoto sighed quietly and stared at the ground. The elders looked angered and more annoyed than before.

"We should not have let that boy become a ninja." Koharu said. Homaru nodded his head in agreement.

"It does not matter. What is done is done. Haruno Sakura, Uzamaki-Namikaze Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke are now rouge ninja and considered enemies of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. We should also consider any group under the name of Akatsuki an enemy as well." The Hokage said in a stern voice. It was now official. The families left while the elders walked away and grumbled angrily about the whole ordeal. Kakashi left as well finally leaving the Hokage alone. He finished the report on the three before retiring to his bed.

Still it was only a matter of time until they found out. How they would take the information was previously unclear, well now they knew. 'Would they try something if they knew that the chunin exams were coming up? Well it'll have to be rescheduled until the time is right and everyone is safe.'
