2 Days Later...

I wake up in an amazing room. I'm in a four-poster, king-size bed under the softest sheets I have ever felt. I'm wearing a nightdress made of satin and my bag, clothes and a box wrapped in blue paper are on the floor. But why do I have a box? I can't remember... Someone knocks softly on my door.

"Come in' I say loudly. Henry walks in. "Oh I'm sorry I thought you would be up, I can leave" He says walking the other way. "No it's okay what do you need to tell me?" I ask him. "Your test results came back. They were strange... " He says sitting on the end of my bed. "What do you mean?" I ask him. He runs a hand through his hair and shakes his head. "They think you're not a conjurer. You're something different to a conjurer but related. They... they think you're a sorceress" He says seriously.

"You mean like a witch?" I ask. "No it's much more than that. Sorceresses are much rarer, much more special" He tells me. "Special? Henry I don't understand. What's a sorceress?" I ask. "You know how normally our powers are quite limited? Well sorceresses get unknown amounts of power according to the history books. There hasn't been a known sorceress since the 1800's so to everyone here you're kind of like royalty" He tells me. "Wow. That's... amazing... " I say shaking my head in disbelief.

"I know. It makes sense though because in the old stories sorceresses are always very young when their powers kick in," He says. I nod at this smiling. At least that makes sense now. "Well anyway I have to get going. Come out when you're ready there's some clothes in the wardrobe and a bathroom through that door. I'll see you later" He says getting up off my bed and walking out. "Bye" I say happily.

I look at my hands wondering about what I can do. I'm a sorceress (whatever that means).  I jump out of bed and look at all the clothes in the wardrobe. Most are the kind of sporty clothes that people wear to the gym as well as a few normal outfits like jeans and knits and there's two dresses. I pull on a pair of skins, running singlet and a hoodie and put on some deodorant. I head into the bathroom and look at my reflection. My hair is frizzy and messy from being slept on and my eyes are bloodshot with dark circles underneath. My skin is paler then usual, covered in purple bruises and I suddenly notice how my joints are aching. The tests took their toll on me. I brush my hair until it's in a slightly less ferocious state then pull it up into a high ponytail but unable to find any makeup have to leave my face looking tired.

I walk out of the room into a white hallway with old wooden floorboards. Walking past other doors with names on them I see one that gives me chills, Blair Grey. That must be the psycho from last night, sleeping just down the hall from me. I keep walking until I reach the end of the hall where there is a huge common area. People are eating breakfast, watching TV, just relaxing and chatting but they all go quiet when I walk in.

"Hey Willa, come get breakfast with me" Henry says jumping up from a group of people he was sitting with. We walk over to the kitchen area. "Why are they all staring at me?" I ask him quietly. "Because you're new and rumours are spreading about your testing. Nobody normally takes as long as you did," He murmurs. "Well why don't we just tell them" I say. He shakes his head. "We can't, not just yet. Grab some food and come sit with me at that table over in the corner," He says lightly resting his hand on my shoulder as he walks past me.

I go to the counter and a plump lady smiles at me. "What's your name dear?" She asks kindly. "I'm Willa," I say in reply. "Oh yes, you're the new one aren't you? We have a special meal for you as you're just out of testing" She says as she turns around into the kitchen. She comes back with a massive plate filled with bacon, eggs, fried tomatoes, toast, mushrooms and baked beans. "Um I don't know if I can eat all of that" I say looking at the enormous amount of food. "You'd be amazed dear," She says laughing. I shrug and begin to walk over to where Henry is sitting flicking through some messages on his phone.
