I knock on Blair's door and lean over trying to regain my breath. She opens it still looking upset from earlier and surprised as I go straight past her into her room. She closes the door and starts looking annoyed. "What the hell is going on Willa?" She questions. "Spencer is trying to set you up. He's trying to make it look like you let Nathan in and he's been trying to turn me against you" I blurt out. Her eyes open wide. "Wait what? Sit down and tell me everything Willa," She says gesturing at the two chairs. We sit down and I go through everything with her. From when Spencer started taking me to watch fights, to all the random hate he'd been whispering to me about her.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have believed him. I don't know why I did it's just you were so mean to me when I first got here I thought he might be right" I say feeling like an idiot. "You're right. I was really mean to you when you first got here. I've been in a bad mood since Melanie passed away. I'm sorry Willa," She says quietly. I'm about to accept her apology but she starts talking again. "I've known about you for a while Willa. I probably should've told you earlier but Giulia used to be my mentor and we still talk often. She used to talk about you, 'Mark's little Starr'. I thought you had a perfect life and I envied you. Getting to know you made it pretty hard to dislike you and has made me feel terrible for what I did to you that first night. I truly am sorry Willa," She says looking at me sincerely. I now understand how she knew my nickname and how she was able to imagine Mark for me. Then I start feeling suspicious again.
"If Giulia was your mentor, did you know about her keeping Mark from me too?" I ask. "No I swear I didn't Willa. I did wonder why you hadn't mentioned him but I put it down to you not wanting to think about the outside while you were in here, a lot of people do that" She says honestly. I look at Blair trying to figure out if she's lying but her eyes look honest. "If you're lying to me and I find out, don't expect me to trust you ever again. I've already lost trust in Henry," I snap. I feel bad as she looked at me sadly. "I'm sorry I just don't know what to do anymore. I thought Spencer was a friend but now I'm worried that maybe..." I began to admit. "Maybe what Willa?" Blair asks softly.
I look up at her and continue, "I'm worried he's the one that sent in Nathan".
Blair looks at me for a minute before saying, "We need to get him to admit it. Ask him to come to your room tonight and we'll interrogate him". I nod quickly. "Willa?" She hesitates. "Yeah Blair?" I ask. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. And for knowing it wasn't me. I know you heard me and Henry talking about Mel today" She says quietly. "I'm so sorry Blair. If I'd known..." I begin but Blair cuts me off by putting a reassuring hand over mine.
"You didn't Willa. I never told you, it's not your fault. I don't know why Spencer is trying to make you believe I'd sneak my sister's killer in here so he could try and kill you. Something is definitely going on, and we're going to find out what" She says determinedly. She takes her hand off mine and springs up heading to her door. "Where are you going?" I ask. "I'm going to get some interrogation tools," She says with an evil grin.
---After dinner---
I pace in my room back and forth as Blair sets up some weird black boxes around my room. "What will those even do? When you said interrogation tools I thought you'd be getting knives and stuff," I say as she clicks the last box in place. "These are much more useful than knives. I've set them to Spencer's profile so they should block his powers and believe me, that'll be enough to freak him out" She says looking happy with her work. "It better be" I say shivering. "Hey are you okay?" Blair asks concernedly.
