* KIMI'S P.O.V *

Gone

Everyone I loved and cared about was gone.

I lost my mother, sister, my bestfriend.

And now I have a little girl to take care of.

I can hardly manage to keep myself alive and now I have to take care of this 12 year old. Which, I'm guessing could think as less of me as a rock.

I shouldn't say rock..nevermind.

"Clem?" I said softly as I walked upstairs.

She had been in her room for God knows how long. She was taking this way harder then I was. I knew I needed  to move on or else I couldn't take care of myself..or her.

"Yes?" she said in a sob.

God, I hated seeing her like this.

"I brought you some food..you need to eat" I said calmly.

I put the plate on a dresser next to the door and watched her as she turned around and looked at the plate. She just looked at me then back at the plate.

"I have to go out to look for some food..so..I'll see you before dark" I said.

And with that, she nodded and turned back around, facing the window.

I left the room and walked downstairs, then exiting the house.

After Kimi left, I turned back around and got off my bunk. I walked to the dresser and picked some food off the plate.

Kimi really is trying to care for me but, it's wierd. She's so much different then me but, I shouldn't be picky.

The food was cold but, had flavor to it. It was just some canned spagitii after all.

After staying in my room for another couple hours, I walked down the hall to Kimi's room.

I've only been in there once and I didn't really pay attention to the actual room itself. That wasn't my main goal at the time.

I walked inside to a dark and messy room. There were food cans on the ground along with some clothes she probably collected over time. She had a large backpack in the corner, much larger then the backpack she carries most of the time. She had black combat boots next to a dresser located in her room.

I walked over to the closet to find nothing inside so, I closed it back up.

I walked over to her bed, which was just a matress with a faded red blanket and pillow. The window above the matress had the dusty, white blinds shut.

I lifted the pillow off the matress to find a leather covered notebook. The leather was obvisiously fake. It was dark and crumpled and faded.

I didn't know if I should open it up and look at its contents or to leave it be.

Curiousity soon got the best of me and I opened the book.

Inside, the crumpled pages were filled with song lyrics, photos and drawings.

I flipped through the notebook, seeing that some pages were ripped out.

I found a drawing that caught my eye..

A drawing of..

Me

I was wearing my normal 'D' baseball cap and you could see my pigtails stick out from the sides of my head. I had my normal outfit on and my facial expression made me look like I was horribly scared.

I continued on, soon finding another drawing of walkers. She must have drew this from looking out her window. There were many walking around and they were seen from a distance. Above the drawing, in bold, it said,

'I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim'

It was true. We all tried to block out this messed up world but, it always came back to get us. To haunt us.

To scare us.

I then suddenly heard..

"Clem!?!"

I turned around to see a clearly pissed off girl in the doorframe.
