Schuyler sat curled up on her bed. She heard the door open and slam shut.

"What is wrong  with you?" Stark turned and saw her.

"I don't know? Maybe I'm just broken."

Stark sat down next to her, "You feel bad, don't you?"

"No."

"Good, because I knew you liked him, and it's not your fault I wasn't thinking right."

"What?"

"I should have given you some warning. I'm sorry."

She didn't answer.

"I'm going to need you to learn to be nice to him, because right now he needs our help."

"How?"

"He lives alone with his aunt. His uncle died a year or two ago, and his parents died when he was a lot younger. His aunt doesn't know about his powers so he needs some support. He needs somewhere to go. We need to be that place but you traumatized him. Can you apologize?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Good." Stark turned to exit the room.

"Tony, I wasn't trying to be mean to him."

"I know."

"Tony?"

He stopped in the doorway. "Yes?"

"I don't have a crush on him."

"I know."

"What's his name again?"

"Peter Parker."

"Okay."
