Schuyler sat clicking her Swiss Army knife open and closed, but aside from that, the plane was quiet. None of the them really had anything to say to one another. Schuyler was furious because she hadn't been left in charge, and she was ignoring Peter, which didn't really matter, because all he was interested in doing was watching them. Ethan knew better than to talk to Sky when she was upset about command, but he found it entertaining enough to watch. Someone turned on the T.V. from the cockpit.
The pilot's voice came over the intercom.
"This is going to be our first stop. The most sightings have been just west of here. Unfortunately the only airport with a big enough landing strip for our plane is a couple hundred miles away, so we'll be taking a pretty long road trip.
Schuyler groaned at the thought of being stuck in a car with two boys for hours.

Sky was curled up with her head against the inside of the car. Every time the car hit a bump, it rocked, and the seatbelt cut deeper into her neck. She didn't care.
Peter had something he wanted to say, and Ethan knew, so he was starring at him, but because Ethan was starring, Peter didn't want to ask. Eventually he got up the courage to do it.
"Um, so I've never been to the Himalayas before. Is the weather going to be bad?" He tried to say it casually but he sounded like he was going to throw up.
"Cold, like my soul." answered Sky blandly.
"Schuyler, don't be bitter." Said Ethan, and turned to face Peter, "We're not going too high up so it won't be that cold."
Peter nodded. Then he and Ethan started a conversation about weaponry (Ethan has never talked about anything else). Schuyler tried to drown them out by going deeper into her thoughts, but her thoughts were scaring her. Eventually she fell asleep.
She woke up to Ethan's voice.
"Sky? Sky?"
"What?"
"Sky,we are almost there."
Sky turned and watched what had once been monotonous trees turn into a small town.
