Schuyler felt uplifted. Originally she had been in a horrible mood, as the boys kept teasing her as her dress kept getting caught in the thorny underbrush, but after blasting a huge hole several miles long down the canyon, and watching them walk through the scorched gulley, her day had been made. They were really quiet.
Stark had clearly failed to mention the full extent of her power to Peter, so now he was just staring at her in awe. Ethan kept complaining about how it probably affected the natural landscape, and the guides were looking at her with expressions that suggested she was a god. They were closer than they knew.
Apparently the silver animals only appeared at night, so they had been ordered by Tony and Steve to hike up during the day and spend the night searching for them. Schuyler had no idea what she was looking for had been expecting to get sleep on this vacation, but knowing Stark, he would make this as miserable as possible.
The first creature they saw appeared just after sunset. It was a blue-silver fox and it was beautiful. But it ran away as soon as it saw them. Sky found out that this was nothing because they were literally everywhere. Still, every time they saw one it managed to know they were coming regardless of how quiet they were. They spent the night hunting, but by sunrise they were exhausted. Still, Stark at insisted they find something, it's Schuyler wasn't going to give up now, especially when Tony had told her this would be easy. They set up a campsite and set up tents, but Sky wouldn't sleep outside, so she set about lighting the biggest fire she was allowed to. The guides were fascinated because not only could she light the fire, she kept walking through the middle of it. The funniest part was definitely when Ethan woke up and started screaming bloody murder, and Parker woke up and just stood there for like three minutes staring at the fire.

When they left again at nightfall, the fire cast a golden glow around the landscape. Even after walking for fifteen minutes, you could still see its dying embers cast weird shadows on the hills near it. Around this same landscape moved the silvery shapes. They even moved through the skies, they're blue vibrant in contrast to the inky saucer of the night sky.

Nothing happened until they reached the woods. Here the animals were more sparse, and more shy. As they made their way through the thickening trees, Schuyler started to argue that this was a waste of time. That the trees were only getting thicker, and there were less and less animals as they went. She and Ethan stopped the group, and started to disagree. Peter stopped to listen to them, but then looked around in interest and moved off quietly into the forest.
After a few minutes he came running back.
"Guys, I think you should see this!"
