Here's Our Plan

Here we were now. Ready to begin planning for the first mission for freedom. Perhaps that's a cliche? Maybe not, but that's truly what we were doing.

We were in my lab, making our plan. Perhaps you forgot who I was? Why would you do such a thing? I'm Henry. The physicist of our little group of newly freedom fighters. I know, again with the "cliches".

But in all seriousness, I'm the leader of a group... of cliches. Ugh, Jeff's been getting to me lately. He jokes, I joke, everyone jokes.

But back to our main topic, (with or without cliches) we were in my lab, discussing a plan to start freeing our fellow scientists from an old lab we were trapped in.

The "slavers" as you could call them had a company. They took ideas and technology from us and sold it to the market to make money. They're company name was Scientific Market Today (SMT for short). I know, worst name ever, but it was theirs and we couldn't change it, life is unfair.
Anyway, these SMT owners were who we had to fight against.

"Okay, this the best I've got: we 1. Use the teleporter that Steven so thoughtfully kept safe for us", Steven held out the teleporter as Jeff talked.

"2. we take this teleporter and use it to get into the lab. Steven, you're going to have to remember where we left because we need to teleport somewhere secretive."

"No problem, I think that place is still stuck in everyone's brains," Steven replied. It really was stuck in our brains. If you asked any one of us to give you a perfect recap of what happened that night, we'd all give you a perfect summary.

"Okay, sad, but true, let's carry on with the plan." I guess he saw the depressed looks on all our faces as he continued.

"Come on, lighten up. Remember, these SMT guys, we're gonna kick their butts, all will be justified, all will be good, everyone will be free, no more evil company slavery". That seemed to lighten the mood a bit, not much though. But Catrina ( the moralizer) wasn't disagreeing with anything so it seemed to be good.

"Anyway, 3. We're in, we snag some disguises from some of them, knock them out, them boom, we're good to explore most of what we please. But remember, it's not a 'hurt anyone' mission, we just need information to get us started in this."

Kayla spoke, "It's all good, just one flaw."

"And what would that be?" Jeff asked.

"You plan on us going in there, then just grabbing some suits and suddenly play a spot on role? It doesn't work that way. We can grab the suits but we can't imitate who we take the suits from, we need to become them."

"Kayla, are you suggesting we use my DNA manipulator to become these monsters?"

"Catrina, it's necessary, this is war , you can't expect us to get through this without doing some bad things. While this isn't truly bad though. Being evil normal doesn't reside in DNA, it's the mental state of that human which is often chosen through experience, sometimes DNA, but not always. We need to do this too, we can't complete this mission without this."

"Fine, you're right, but how do you expect us to get these DNA samples,"

"We have maybe two of us go a few days earlier than the mission and sneak the samples off of someone, find their names and have Steven hack into the records to find their schedules and locations weekly, then use the schedule to find the right candidates and we're good."

"Okay, while complicated, I can add that to my plans and we'll be set and ready. Steven and someone else can teleport to the lab tomorrow and get the information and samples and we'll be good for when we do the mission," Jeff said.

"Simple enough, I'll go with Steven after school tomorrow so we can grab some samples, then come back here and we'll decide what to do next week," I said.

"Sounds good", everyone said.

Meeting adjourned. Let's hope this goes well.
