Chapter 6:

I am standing in a big park, the sun shining bright. There are a few people walking around, chatting and laughing.

Everything seems so free like they can do what they want.

How the hell did I come here? And even more important, where am I?

I step forward, realising that I don't have any shoes on but I don't mind it because the grass beneath my feet is warm.

In my world there is hardly any grass anymore so I'm not used to the ticklish blades of grass.

I look around, trying to spot something familiar. Something that could tell me where I am.

But there is nothing.

I take a few careful steps as if this is just a hallucination and fades away if I move to much. But nothing happens and then I'm walking towards the path which is only some metres away.

I close my eyes for a second.

The sun is shining brightly on me and I can feel the grass beneath me. I can hear laughter and it seems like time is standing still.

It is wonderful, absolutely magical.

When I open my eyes again, reality hits me like a wave in the ocean. I still don't know where I am.

Hesitantly I walk to an older couple who are passing by, obviously enjoying the sunny afternoon.

"Excuse me," I start talking and the two turn around, looking at me curiously.

"Can you tell me where we are?", I say carefully. I bet they think I am crazy.

They seem to be a bit taken back by that question but then the women answered: "We are in London. This is the Hyde Park."

'I am in London? But London is different. It's not so colourful and there are no beautiful places like this.', I think and bite on my lip, as always when I am not sure about what to do.

"Which year do we have?", I ask after taking a deep breath to calm myself.

Now the couple exchanges a look and I can see that they are slightly pissed of by my behaviour.

"Listen, young man," the old man states, "who do you think you are? You can't just annoy other people! This is absolutely inappropriate."

I flinch and apologize before turning around and going away, not knowing where I would end up.

After some minutes of walking around like the last idiot, I sit down sighing deeply.

As comfortable as the grass is, I really want to know where I am.

To know that I'm in London doesn't help much.

Then I hear somebody talking next to me and look up to be met by the most stunning blue eyes I've ever seen.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

When the young male in front of me sees my face, he stops speaking aprubtly and his eyes widen.

I stand up and try to come up with an excuse but my brain seems to have some trouble with this right now.

All I can think about is blue eyes and the familiarity in it.

"Uh.. I am.. I'm just sitting here, enjoying the sun.", I manage to say but it sounds more like a question.

He shakes his head as if he wanted to clear his mind from unwanted thoughts and then he smiled.

My heart beats faster and I can't help but smile back.

The male stretches out his hand and says: "I'm Louis by the way. Nice to meet you."

I shake his hand carefully and as my fingers touch his I can feel the warmth and softness of his hand.

It seems so natural to hold his hand but I know that I can't hold it forever.

So I pull my hand back and look into his eyes.

They are so blue. Just like the sky.

'That's it,' I think, 'his eyes are parts of the heaven.'

I look away before I can get lost in those blue orbs and see that he looks at me curiously.

I furrow my brows and then I realise that I am supposed to tell him my name as well.

"I'm Harry.", I say quickly.

He only nods and then asks, blushing a bit: "This may sound a bit weird now, but would you like to come along and get a coffee or something?"

I freeze.

'Did he really just ask me if I want to drink some coffee with him?'

"Uh.. yeah.. I'd like that.", I stutter.

Louis' smile gets bigger and honestly I've never seen such a beautiful smile before.

He grabs my hand and pulls me along.

I stumble a bit and then say slightly embarassed: "Louis, can you stop. I.. I have no.. shoes."

He turns around so that he's facing me and thinks for a moment before he says:

"We will see my home on our way and you can borrow some shoes there."

I am a bit surprised.

'Why doesn't he find it weird that I don't have shoes?'

But, nonetheless, I start walking again and follow his lead through the park.
