Hunter

Chapter 4: Discovery

The sun was close to the start of setting, a black SUV and a black and red Yamaha r15 drove up the drive way. After the car had turned off, Sonah stepped out of the SUV from the passengers side and Sam stepped out from the drivers. Hunter turned off her motorcycle and took off her helmet showing her short messy cut hair. She ran her fingers through her hair smoothing it out. All three girls began to walk up their drive way, backpacks hanging off one of each of their shoulders.

"So why isn't Torey joining us today?" Sam asked Hunter as Sonah began to open door to the house.

"Torey had to go to LA for her dads welcoming party at his work. She said she was going to be bored out her mind but she had to go to support her father." Hunter explained as the girls set down their bags

"Well it's a good thing she didn't come because we need to talk to you about something Hunter." Sonah explained as she sat down on the couch. She tapped on the couch for Hunter to sit down. Sam sat away from Sonah leaving a spot for Hunter open.

"What's this about?" Hunter asked as she began to sit down.

"Can you tell us about what happened between you and Alex?" Sam asked Hunter. "After school let out last year you and Alex were the happiest couple on campus now you guys acted pissed at each other for a reason Sonah and I can't seem to understand."

"We just had some time away and it made me realize that he's not the right guy for me, and I don't know how to tell him that without hurting his feelings. Why are you asking me about this you've never asked about this before."

"Because I saw something today Hunter and I wish I didn't see it." Sam explained. Sonah began to prepare herself for the worst.

"What did you see? I don't think I understand what you're trying to say."

"I saw him and another girl, together holding hands and kissing."

"What?!?!" Hunter asked confused and upset.

"I saw them when I went to the bathroom, I left before they saw me and I came running up to Sonah, you and Torey had gone to get lunch. That's what I was talking about when u got back." Hunter stood up and began to walk to her backpack which was sitting on a rocking chair with the other girls' bags. Sonah and Sam followed her around with their eyes. Out of nowhere it seemed, Hunter grabbed her bag and threw it up against a wall, making the wall shake dropping some hung picture frames, she fell to the ground and began to punch her thigh so hard that you could hear the impact from miles. She just began to sob, Sonah and Sam quickly ran to her and slid down to her level. Sonah grabbed Hunter's arms and kept them held in a bear like hug. Sam began to shake her head. "I didn't think it would upset you this much, I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you this. If I knew you were going to react like this I wouldn't have said anything at all." After Hunter had calmed down slightly she wiped the tears that flowed down her face and grabbed Sam's hand."I'm glad you told me, I've been needing something to break off the whole ordeal with Alex and now I have something I can use. Thank you Sam for telling me this." Hunter hugged Sam very tightly and Sonah joined in.
