Two months went by quicker then Hunter thought. Hunter and Sonah grew farther and farther apart, while Torey and Hunter grew closer and closer together. Hunter spent less time with her sisters and more time with Torey. Hunter started missing more rehearsals and spent that time with Torey. Sam noticed all the changes and she wasn't sure why Hunter was acting so strange, she knew Hunter was not being herself. Hunter had never missed rehearsals before and Sam wasn't the only one who noticed.
Sam waited on the couch for Hunter to come home, and ask why she was missing so many rehearsals. Hunter strolled in happily into the house with a big grin on her face, something Sam hasn't seen since Hunter and Alex first got together.
"Hunter?" Sam called to for her attention.
"Sam? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at rehearsals?" Hunter asked confused.
"So should you." Sam snapped at Hunter and then took a breath. "I told Jason I couldn't make it. Hunter we need to talk." Sam said concerningly
"What is this about Sam?"
"You haven't been coming to rehearsals at all since you and Sonah had that fight, you haven't even been coming and hanging out with us."
"I've been busy."
"Busy with what?!" Sam yelled. "With Torey? Why she more important than your own family?"
"Because she actually likes me for who I am, I don't have to change myself when I'm around her."
"What are you talking about? You can be yourself around us why would we ever judge you?" Hunter stayed silent. Knowing her feelings for Torey was something she had never felt before and she couldn't understand the meaning behind them. Sam looked at Hunter and started connecting the dots. "Wait a minute. You love her?"
"What are you talking about?"
"The look in your eyes, the smile you get when you're around her. That's the same look you had with Alex."
"That's ridiculous Sam. I'm not gay." Hunter started getting defensive.
"Hunter, I'm not saying your gay." Sam paused to rethink herself. "I'm saying that Torey is not someone you should be hanging out with you."
"And when have you been a good judge of character?"
"Hunter this isn't you, you're starting to act like dad."
"What do you know about dad?! You were only four years old when he left, you have no right to compare me to him."
"I remember dad! I remember the day he left."
"That's it, I'm done. I should have left a long time ago." Hunter said as she grabbed her black backpack and opened the front door.
"Hunter wait!" Sam yelled to her. Hunter slammed the door shut and started her motorcycle and drove away, Sam ran out of the door to try and stop Hunter but couldn't get to her in time. Just as she was driving away Sonah drove up their street and saw Hunter drive off. Sonah parked the car in the driveway and saw Sam shaking her head on the porch.
"Sam? What just happened?" Sonah asked concerningly
"I was trying to confront Hunter on her missing rehearsal, I was trying to find out why she was acting so weird but she got all defensive after I accused her of liking Torey."
"What do you mean by her liking Torey?" Sonah asked confused.
"I think she's in love with Torey, the way she loved Alex."
"Wait, are you saying what I think you are saying?"
"Yes, I think Hunter is gay." Sonah looked at Sam surprised. Sonah didn't know how to take this new discovery about her sister. She had always knew Hunter was different from her and Sam but she didn't expect her to be gay.

It was midnight when Sonah heard Hunter's motorcycle come up the driveway. Sonah walked out the front door, closing the door behind her she walked up to Hunter's motorcycle. Hunter turned off her motorcycle and took off her helmet only to see Sonah's silhouette.
"What do you want?" Hunter asked annoyingly.
"We need to talk." Sonah grabbed Hunter's keys from her hands.
"Hey! Give those back!" Hunter yelled trying to grab the keys from Sonah. Sonah pulled her hand away from Hunter's reach.
"No, you don't get these until we finish talking, I'm not going to give you the chance to run off again." Hunter stayed sitting on her bike, leaning on her helmet which was set on the front part of the bike over the gas tank. "Hunter our argument shouldn't be still making you mad that was two months ago, I apologized for hitting you and this whole thing with Torey is getting ridiculous." Hunter started to get ready to argue when Sonah stopped her from saying anything. "No I'm not done, Hunter if you are gay it's fine. Sam and I still love you very deeply because you are still the sister that we grew up with. Even if we have different dads you are still my blood sister. Just because you like girls instead of guys doesn't mean that changes who you are on the inside. You are still the Hunter that Sam and I love. What I'm basically saying is, if you are gay don't be ashamed of it. Where that on the front of your chest and never let anyone tell you that you won't make it anywhere because your gay, because they just don't understand and they aren't the people you should be hanging out with. I love you Hunter just the same as I loved you before." After Sonah finished her speech she set Hunter's keys on the bike. "There if you want to run, run. I'm not going to stop you anymore, do what you wish." Sonah started to walk away leaving Hunter by her bike. Hunter threw her leg over her bike and ran up to Sonah.
"Sonah! Wait!" Sonah turned around when she heard Hunter call her. Hunter threw her arms around Sonah and gave her a thoughtful hug. Sonah wrapped her arms around Hunter's back and hugged back. A tear fell down both their faces as they stayed in the hug.
"I'm so sorry Sonah." Hunter said crying. Sonah just pulled hunter closer and in a tighter hug.
From one of the windows facing the front yard Sam stared out at the two and smiled, happy to see her sisters reunited again.
