~Emma's POV~
When Felix came back, we went and got food from Burger King, and then went back to the police station. We ate our food and then another policeman came and whispered Felix something in his ear. "Didn't you say you had a teacher that knew a bit about this?" Felix asked.
"Yeah... Why?"
"We need more evidence to go anywhere with this case. I was thinking maybe they can back you up."
"What sort of evidence do you need?"
"Well, preferably someone actually seeing him do something to you, but that isn't gonna happen, so just someone who can say that he has done something to you."
"Why am I helping you? I don't want him to go to prison!"
"The more truthful you are, the smaller his sentence will be. Trust me. It'll be better to tell the truth."
"Okay... Actually, I'm pretty sure Mr Earl saw Master Hend... I mean my Father punch me in school, which gave me a bust lip, and he knows a bit about the arm thing and just his general actions around me. Would that be enough?"
"Yeah. That would definetly be enough." The other policeman said. "Oh, by the way, I'm Chris. Chris Kendall." He stuck out his hand, which I gladly shook. We both smiled and then he went to his desk to go call Mr Earl and see if he could come in to the station. I could hear both ends of the call, and Mr Earl seemed very worried about me. That's exactly why Mr Earl is an amazing person. When Mr Earl came in, about an hour later, another policeman came and showed Mr Earl to us. He sat down and they all introduced themselves.
"Hello. My name is Felix Kjellberg, but you can call me Felix."
"Nice to meet you Felix, I'm Chris."
"Nice to meet you Chris."
"Hi. My name is Chris Kendall."
"Nice to meet you Chris, I'm Chris." Chris and Mr Earl laughed and then Felix started talking.
"Well, as you know, Emma needs you for evidence."
"Yes. I've heard..."
"Have you ever seen Michael Henderson beat Emma in any way?"
"Sadly, yes... I saw him punch her once, which ended up in a bust lip, and possibly a fractured jaw." He looked over to me and said, "I'm sorry I didn't say anything Emma."
"It's fine..." I smiled at him.
"Do you agree in this being used in a court of law? You may end up in court."
"Yes. I completely agree."
"Okay then. Do you two want to go into my office, just to sit. It may be a while before we actually get somewhere with this."
"Okay" Both Mr Earl and my myself said in unison. When we got to Felix's office, Mr Earl started talking.
"So... I hear you are sticking up for Henderson?"
"Yeah. I am going to drop any charges to give him the smallest sentence possible."
"If I may ask, why?"
"I love him. He's my Father. Everything he has done to me, he has had done to himself by his Father, so I understand. Also, if I have to get adopted by someone else, what is to say that they won't treat me the same way, or even worse?"
"I mean... I guess..." We sat for about an hour before Felix came in and asked Mr Earl to follow him to the questioning room and then threw me an apple.
"What's this?"
"It's an apple, you idiot."
"I know what it is Felix.... I mean why have you thrown an apple at me?" I said rolling my eyes.
"To eat... What else would you do with it? Throw it around?"
"Well, you did, so I don't see why not."
"I've told you, you need to eat more. Just eat it."
"Okay, Felix." I sat for another 20 minutes before Chris came in.
"Hi."
"Hi." I smiled at him.
"What'cha doing?" I laughed and then said,
"Just sitting. There isn't much else to do."
"I know me saying 'what'cha doing' was completely out of character, but I thought it was creepy to say 'what are you doing'... Anyway, Felix says that he will be around 2 hours before he is finished with Chris, so... Do you want to go and get coffee or something?"
"Yeah. Sure."
"Okay. To Starbucks, we go!" I laughed and then followed Chris to Starbucks.~Time Skip: Starbucks~
"So, what do you want?" Chris asks me.
"Just a black coffee. Interesting, right?" I laughed.
"Okay. Mental note, Emma drinks really boring coffee." We both laughed and then Chris went to get our coffee.
"So, what did you chose for your Year 9 choices?"
"I've ended up doing Maths and Science."
"Oh cool. What else? It's still 1 art, either history or geography and 3 other choices isn't it?"
"Yeah. I chose Music for the art, History, and then Maths, Chemistry and Physics."
"You know, I have a friend that did exactly that for GCSE, and I'm pretty sure he went to the same school. Not sure if he still goes there though..."
"What's his name?"
"James Craig."
"Yeah, I know him. He's one of my closest friends actually."
"Really? How do you know him?"
"He plays the cello and I play the violin in String Group."
"Oh, cool!" I chuckled and we just chatted for about an hour before we went back to the station.
