Three days... Three days until the game ends. Three days until I kill maggie. Three days until my 18th birthday. I plan on making the most of these three days, killing as many people as I can. I haven't seen Maggie since that night. I still have no idea how many kills Maggie has made. I'm 99% sure that it isn't anywhere near as many as me. I would probably win even if I didn't make any other kills, it's just that 1% chance that she might win which makes me want to go out and kill everyone in the town, just so there's no way she can possibly win. I suddenly think of a way to get my kills up by a lot. I change into my black skinny jeans and my black hoodie. I grab my black bandana out of my top drawer and put it on so it is covering my mouth and nose. I walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror. I pull the hood up over my head so it's covering my eyes. Perfect. Anyone who sees me won't be able to identify me.
Satisfied with my appearance, I walk back into my room and fill it with all the things I could possibly need. My camera, some rope and my knife, of course. I also add some bandaids. What? I might fall over. You never know. Ha, that's a load of bullshit. As if I'd ever fall over. I pick up my keys and walk out to my car. I open the boot and look inside. Shit. It's not there. "Looking for something?" I look over my shoulder to see Maggie standing there holding my assault rifle, swinging it slightly. I turn around and press my hand to my forehead. "Give. It. Back. I am not in the mood for your fucking games." She starts walking towards me. "Awww, is someone afraid they're not going to win?" She smirks. I snatch the gun out of her hands and walk around to the driver's seat. "Yeah, that's right, you walk away. You're only proving my point." I slam the car door shut and drive away. Things will be better when this is all over. I pull up out the front of the IGA. There's no out, which isn't surprising seeing as it's almost midnight.
I walk into the store, carrying my gun. The only people that are here are the checkout staff. Lucky them. Once I'm inside, I lock the doors. No escape for them now. I walk up to the first person. She's a girl, probably about 17. I look down at her name tag. Grace. That's a nice name. I aim the gun at her head and before she fully realizes what is happening, I pull the trigger. Her body falls limply to the floor. I can hear all the other staff screaming. They are trying to run away but really, it's useless. I'm going to find them. The next victims are all fairly the same. Mary, John, Peter, Susan and Vicky. I don't see why they need so many people here, especially when no one actually goes here at midnight. Seriously, seven people is a bit many. Wait. I've only killed six people. That means there's still one hiding somewhere. I walk down the isles trying to find them. Finally, I see him. He is hiding the corner. I walk closer to him. "Stay away from me you smelly parasite!" He yells. Smelly parasite? Is this kid serious? "You can't hurt me, look at my guns." He starts flexing his muscles. Does he really think he stands a chance? I have an actual gun for christ's sake. I look down at his name tag, Wade. Figures. I aim the gun at his head and pull the trigger. Yeah, his muscles really helped him. I walk back to the store and take a photo of each of the bodies before running back to my car so I can get out of here before the cops arrive. I pull into my driveway and cut the engine. I rest my head on the steering wheel. I've gotten 45 kills so far. I don't think I will kill any more people between now and when the game ends. I just hope those 45 people are enough to win, but then I'm not too sure if I want to win anymore. I mean, I don't want to die or anything, I'm just not too sure if I'll be able to kill Maggie when the time comes.
