"You asshole!" Maggie yells, leaning against the bars. They decided to move me to a holding cell. I smirk. "What'd I do sweetie?" "You," She points at me. "You mentioned that guy I killed... um, what was his name?" "Tim?" I try to swing back on my chair but fail, seeing as the chair is bolted to the floor. "Tim, that's it." She looks back at me. "Do you realize how much trouble I got in for that? You've completely screwed up my life!"

"And sending someone to jail for life isn't screwing up their life? Anyway, you can't say that you didn' t have a little fun killing him. I saw the look on your face, you loved killing him." She glares at me. "I'm going to lose my job." I let out a chuckle. "You single-handedly took down the countries worst criminal. Do you really think they would fire you?" She doesn't answer. Instead, she turns and walks away.

After about an hour of pacing my cell, officer Steven walks up to the bars. "Are you still sure about your decision to not have a lawyer? We can provide you one for free if you like." I stop. "I don't need any lawyers. I'm fine on my own." "Good." He replies. I slowly turn to look him straight in the eyes."You're going to court tomorrow." Before he walks away he adds, "I hope you know what you're doing." Maggie returns with a plate of food pretty much straight after he left. It's a piece of toast with baked beans on top. I screw up my nose.

"Do you honestly expect me to eat this shit?" She shrugs. "I didn't have to bring this. Office Steven wanted to leave you to starve." She begins to walk away. "Maggie, wait!" She glances over her shoulder at me. "I'll take the food." She opens the door a little bit to push the plate through. I take this as my chance. I lean forward and pull her by her hand into the cell. I shut the door, being careful to keep it unlocked. "What the hell Cole!?" She exclaims. "I need you to help me."
