Officer Steven walks out of the room leaving Maggie standing in the door frame. She smirks at me before walking across the room and sliding onto the table. She leaves her legs hanging off the edge, her feet practically resting on my knees. She stares at me but doesn't say a word. She doesn't need to either, it's written all over her face. She won. "So Cole," She starts. "How does it feel to know that you're going to be locked away for the rest of your life?" "I could escape, you never know." She throws her head back and lets out a laugh. "You... Escape?" She manages to choke out between laughs. "There is no way you'll be able to escape. You won't even be able to breathe without them knowing." She flicks her head back towards the glass. Realizing she's right; I decide to change the subject.

"Steven said you had some explaining to do?" "Oh," She stops laughing. "You're probably confused about what happened.' I nod impatiently and she continues. "Well, when you found me, I was originally just going to break to try and find some evidence but I had to think of something quickly, otherwise you would have killed me." She pauses to laugh. "My little story about me being a killer was pretty good, wasn't it? I didn't think you'd actually believe it. Anyway, that month that we were supposed to be playing the 'game' gave me enough time to collect evidence on you." Things are beginning to make sense now. The phone call, her climbing on the benchtops, it was all part of some plan to send me to jail. I cannot believe I fell for it. I thought I was smarter than that.

"Wait, what about all those people you killed?" She begins laughing so hard that I think she might fall off the table. I personally don't see how any of this is funny. "You don't think I really killed anyone, do you?" She runs a hand through her hair. "They were all photos I collected from the police station. Steven gave them to me." "Oh," I stare down at the floor. "So all your 'victims' were just people that had been killed by other people?"  "Pretty much, some had even been dead for nearly twenty years." "That explains why I never saw any of your kills on the news," I mutter. "What'd you say?" She asks, leaning closer to me. "Never mind." I shake my head a little."

"What about that other guy? The one in my basement? You killed him. I watched you." Her expression falters a little. "Does he," I point towards the door. "Know about that?" Just as she is about to answer the door swings open. Officer steven walks in. "Okay, I think that's enough." Her turns towards Maggie. "Dave would like to speak to you." She jumps off the table and walks towards the door. Before she leaves she gives me a look which tells me this isn't over. "So," I swing around to look at Steven. "I assume you heard that whole thing." He gives me a glare before leaving the room. After he is gone I sneak up to the door and try to open it. It's locked. I lean back against the door and sink to the floor. I have a feeling tonight will be a long night.
