"Seth? Seth? Are you sure you're ok?" Jeffry said while shoving Seth's shoulder. "Huh? What? Oh, yes, I'm perfectly fine. I just had another dream, that's all." "Another dream? What was it about this time?" "Well, it was different than the last one. The entire dream was a conversation. Dominic, the guy that I talk to when I’m dreaming, told me three things. First, he said that I can contact him whenever I want, but it is much harder to hear his voice when I’m awake. That is why we talk in my dreams. Second, when I asked who he was, he said to refer to him as a ‘good friend’. Apparently, he has known me for a long time. Third, he said that he wasn’t a human, elf, or videun, but rather something else. He doesn’t like to explain things like that in much detail. Oh, one last thing. He told me to keep him between you and me.” “Wow…I wonder if he has anything to do with my dreams…”
"Speaking of which," Jeffry continued, "I had another dream as well. It was a lot like the ones I had in the past. The three of us, you, me, and Sylva, were walking through the woods. Suddenly, a great strong wind came and flung us above the trees. When I looked around, you and I were on top of a tree watching Sylva and Fang fight a bizarre looking Forgon. It had spiral horns, rather than straight ones like the ones Fang has. Its teeth were much sharper and longer than those of Fang as well. There were a few more details like those, but the three of them were fighting the whole time, and I didn't pay that much attention to the Forgon's details." "Are you telling me that we are going to me attacked by a wild Forgon in the future?" "Only if my dreams really do come true. I did think that there was something weird about the Forgon, however." "How so?" "Well, the Forgon didn't look like an older adult version. The Forgon father looked a lot like his son, even in his old age. This Forgon, however, looked stronger and more powerful. Sylva and Fang together seemed to be having a tough time. Also, I could have sworn I heard it speak out loud once in the battle. Don't quote me just yet, but I think that the Forgon might have been and Arch-Forgon."
Just then, Sylva knocked on their door. "Are you two dressed and ready yet?" She said. "You guys must have been more tired than you looked yesterday, because this is the first time I have ever seen either of you sleep in." "We'll be out in a minute," Seth said, reaching for his clothes. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you downstairs. Malcolm said that he wanted to treat us to breakfast." After that, the only thing the boys could hear outside their door was the sound of footsteps.
After they got dressed, they went down to the lobby of the inn, where they saw Malcolm and Sylva talking. Seth could have sworn he heard Malcolm whisper "Should I keep it a secret for now?", but he couldn't say for sure. "Good morning, Malcolm! Good morning, Sylva!" The boys said almost at the same time. "Good morning, boys!" Malcolm said, almost startled. "Did you two sleep well?" The boys nodded. "Come," Malcolm continued, motioning to everyone, "The inn keeper's wife was generous enough to prepare some breakfast for us." Malcolm led the three to a dining room, where the inn keeper's wife had set up a decent sized meal. Everyone later discovered that the inn keeper and his wife already ate, so they had the table to themselves.
"Have you all been wondering why I have asked you to come here?" The three nodded. "Not long after I obtained the book that I sent to you all, I had another vision. You boys need not worry about me catching Sylva up. This vision was actually the same as before, but in greater detail and length. Let's see, I'll start right after my sight became blurry. There was a man standing in front of a large cauldron. He was wearing a long, purple robe with black lines like those on a tiger. He had a hood over his head, so I could only see his mouth. He was releasing energy from his hands into the cauldron, which contained bones from the look of it. After a few seconds, a skeleton arm reached out of the cauldron, which led soon after to the rest of the skeleton coming out. The skeleton stood as if it had a hunch in its back, and it had blowing black eyes which seemed to act like fire that you could see rise out of it eye sockets. After the robed man gave an evil smile, the skeleton fell apart. The man flipped over the cauldron in a raged fury. Soon after, a man in a man in red appeared to him, just like in my last vision. This time, I remember the conversation. The man in red said, 'I see you have much to learn about the dead. Fret not, for this is a subject in which I am well knowledge. However, my help comes with a price.' The robed man angrily said, 'What makes you such an expert on controlling the dead?' The man in red made a light chuckle, then said, 'Why explain, when I can show you?' He then reached his hand out over the skeleton the robed man had tried to resurrect earlier. The lifeless skeleton quickly rose off of the ground, this time somewhat energetic. The skeleton walked over to a wall and punched a large crater into it, and then soon after than fell apart. 'Do you still doubt my power?' the man in red said with an evil smile. The robed man stood in astonishment, and then said, 'What was this price you spoke of?' The man in red started to slowly walk around the room, at first using some power to levitate the cauldron and then put it back where it was earlier. 'I will give you power almost as strong as mine, but in return I have a task for you. There is a boy, the chosen one. He has finally been called by my eternal enemy to take me down. If I ignore him for too long, it will make my plans much harder to complete. You may keep you powers, as long as you first use them to kill the chosen one.' The robed man nodded with a smile slowly growing on his face. 'Also, until the chosen one is destroyed, you are to refer to me as 'master'. Is that understood?' The robed man got on one knee, looked up, and said, 'Your command is my desire, master.' With a smile and an evil laugh, the man in red put his hand on the robed man. The robed man looked as if he were being electrocuted. When he was finished, the robed man's robed seemed to glow, as if it were emanating power. His hood was thrown back, and I could now see all of his head. His short hair was bright red, also seeming to glow. His eyes were a very dark red, as if it were his rotten blood I was looking at. As soon as the robed man looked up at his master once more, my vision ended."
